ADB Project
Strengthening Investigation and Prosecution System of Anti Corruption Commission
A Technical Assistance project of ADB
Total amount= $ 800,000 ( including Korean Fund)
Specific activities under the project will include:
Study and analyze the inquiry, investigation , prosecution and prevention process of ACC
Suggest practical and implementable changes/improvements in the business process relating to
investigation and prosecution process and prevention practices of ACC through a consultative process
with relevant stakeholders
Develop a web-based IPMS software for ACC with modules for monitoring the activities of the
inquiry& investigation officers and the public prosecutors; verifying and authorizing the claims of the
public prosecutors and digitizing and archiving of the documentary evidences relating to a case at the
ACC HQ
Develop a data base for the Corruption Prevention Committees(CPCs) and the Integrity Units.
Provide required hardware and accessories at the ACC HQ and the 7 divisional level offices for
implementation of the software
Develop an Operation Manual for IPMS and Provide training in IPMS for officers and staff nominated
by ACC
One year on-site support and service for the software and the hardware after installation

ACC and ADB Cooperation
The Anti-Corruption Commission of Bangladesh has so far implemented different TA Projects
titled as (a) Supporting Good Governance Program (b) Supporting Good Governance
Initiatives(phase I & phase II) with assistance of the Asian Development Bank. The following
activities have been accomplished under those projects:
• Computer Lab of the ACC
• The Conference room of the ACC
• The foundation training course for the officers recruited on 2011.
• The special foundation training course for the promoted officers.
• The Intermediate level training Course for mid level officers.
• Financing the Corruption prevention Committees in order to undertake different
preventive activities under Corruption prevention outreach program.
• Prosecution Database management system.
•
Now ACC seeks for assistance in the following fields:
• Implementation of the Five years Strategic Plan.
• Establishment of a modern training Unit to train the member of the Corruption
prevention Committees and Government officials.
• Mobile Projection units for Head Quarter and field offices.
• A digital library and digital document management system.
