1. Dr. Shahid Bashir – Brief Profile
Dr. Shahid holds Ph.D. in Marketing graduate from Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia; M.S. in Marketing graduate from University of Wales, United Kingdom; and MBA in
Marketing graduate from Federal Urdu University Islamabad, Pakistan.
Dr. Shahid is a top position holder in the Marketing field with a CGPA of 3.76/4.00 from Federal
Urdu University. He also scored 73% marks in B.Com Part 1, and achieved second position
among all the college students affiliated with Agriculture University, Faisalabad, Pakistan. He
has achieved A-grades in 25 modules during his entire educational journey including MBA
thesis from Federal Urdu University.
In his early career, Dr. Shahid worked as an Accountant in Hassan Medical Centre, Attock,
Pakistan; Assistant Marketing Manager in Themes Advertising & Marketing (pvt) Limited,
Rawalpindi, Pakistan; and Commerce Teacher in Sir Syed College, Attock, Pakistan. After
completing his MBA in 2009, he relocated to Europe to continue his studies in the field of
marketing. He continued to Ph.D in Malaysia, and also took the position of Graduate Research
Assistant (GRA) at Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Since 2014, he is a
member of Faculty of Business in the same university.
Dr. Shahid has teaching experience of around 5 years for both local and international institutions.
Dr. Shahid has designed, developed and executed some business development training and
consultancy projects for Institute of Research and Journals (IRAJ), Academic World
International (AW), and International society for engineering research and development
(ISERD). He has trained 100+ professionals since 2009. He has been invited to Singapore as
well to offer his services.
Dr. Shahid has 10+ research publications in business research journals, and half a dozen
presentations in peer-reviewed conferences at Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore. Dr. Shahid has
been awarded as a keynote speaker and a session chair in five international conferences at
Malaysia and Singapore. Dr. Shahid is an experienced corporate leader, consultant, and trainer
with multicultural experiences and possesses excellent interpersonal skills.
