the pilot team. Being assigned to Jamaica allowed me to communicate permanently with
100% English-Language speakers involved in the pertaining processes. I was trained in
USGAAP and SOX guidelines.

We reduced a one-month gap in the posting & closing process within 4 months.

Accountant I
This is one of the four largest oilfield services companies in the world. I started as
Intercompany Payable Analyst, using SAP AP & FI modules. Later I was promoted to Tax
Analyst, was in charge of indirect taxes for Colombia & Central America, analyzing accounts,
preparing returns and assisting with payments. I also analyzed information retrieved from
Oracle Hyperion using the Excel Smartview tool.


BPO - FAS Assistant
I was in charge of the monthly financial close-off & reporting process for the assigned clients,
all of them located overseas, and we communicated 100% of the time in English. While I was a
temporary consultant, the client perception of the services rendered improved dramatically,
getting congratulated for my skills and my service-oriented approach.

Ernst & Young  Bogota D.C. (Colombia)  Full-time  September 2008 - June 2010
Staff Auditor
I developed audit procedures related to core processes and support areas. I also performed
audit procedures in order to identify risks and associated controls, specifically in financial
services companies. I started as Audit Intern but got a promotion to staff auditor in less than
a year. I also performed audit procedures often assigned to seniors.


Financial Reporting Analyst
I was a member of the Financial reporting team for Colombia, assigned to consolidate the
reporting packages in order to submit them to Headquarters. I was also in charge of
calculating financial and management ratios, the annual budgeting process and some other
tasks related to accounting and financial analysis.

