The ISOTECH 4000 Series: Why?
“Our customers, who range
from the worlds’ leading
National Laboratories to site
engineers, have long valued
the accuracy and quality of
our equipment. This new
range is a response from
customers demanding modern
styling and additional features
such as more input channels,
advanced logging and an
Ethernet interface. We are
proud to meet this demand in
a new lighter and stronger
rugged case.”

Transmitter Input
We can connect one or two 4 – 20mA current
transmitters to the indicator
For transmitters that need powering we have this
“current loop interface” accessory
It provides an easy way to interface any transmitter
type to the ADVANCED model

ADVANCED Features
Offset Elimination
This feature uses “Setpoint Trim” to
ensure the block temperature stabilizes
at the temperature as measured by the
reference probe not the internal control
sensor

Example
On a Pegasus the input controller is set
to 1000°C
The Pegasus settles with the controller
showing 1000°C but the reference probe
measuring 1001°C
31. Slide 31
ADVANCED Models
When Offset Elimination is enabled
the controller set point is trimmed
down by 1°C
The insert stabilises as 1000°C

FAQ
Are the Accessories Interchangeable?
The inserts, liquid containers, reference probes from the
"old" models can be used with the 4000 Series. The LIG
Kit for the Europa / Venus / Calisto and the carry case
have changed
The Surface Sensor Kits and Jupiter / Pegasus
Blackbody kits now have longer leads on the sensors; to
allow for the connectors being on the front rather than
top of the case.
Do they cost more?
No, the Basic and Site Models cost the same as the
earlier version. The carry case price has increased as it
has been upgraded to have wheels and a pull out handle
