I've worked in ESL teaching and assessment for about 18 years. I enjoy teaching from home because I live in a small
town and balance my online activities with various projects and personal pursuits.
I used to teach BIG classes. I like working one-on-one with students because it's better! This is the era of the self-
directed adult learner. Each speaking practice conversation is different and dynamic.

Learning beginner English is very different from learning English at higher levels. I will show you non-traditional ways
to look at language and speaking/listening that will help you speak more creatively and more fluently. Spoken
discourse works a little differently than the written word and I teach with this in mind.
Speaking practice with a skilled teacher is a valid and stress-free way for intermediate+ learners to make progress.
Once you have the basic grammar and vocabulary, simple conversational exchange (with feedback + new vocabulary
taught in situ) can be helpful.
I'm accredited (licensed) teacher of English as a Second Language federally and provincially in my country and I
worked at provincial college in Ontario from 2008 to 2015. My highest ESL credential is the Cambridge RSA
DipTEFLA (2001) and I was an Examiner (Speaking and Writing) for IELTS for almost seven years. I can be as
academic and ‘serious’ or as casual and ‘conversational’ as you like. Sometimes it's nice to have a qualified person
to practice on -- with a teacher's knowledge/skills but not a formal lesson. That is the middle ground that I find works
well with online ESL.

what to change in my writing to get above 6.5 Jennifer, as a true IELTS expert
and examiner, provides her students with meaningful feedback and precise
advice on what exactly could be done better. Also, she has various methods of
studying for different people. I fell that I've improved my skills significantly and
become aware of some reasonable aspects that I hadn't seen before. Finally, she
does care about the result, so the lessons might be a bit strict if needed, but

Today the 30th session... I'm looking where I had been three months before and
where I now. I think that in the middle of these two events is locate an abyss.
