  • This is anti-biblical. Emerging church man-made plans to take the place of the Holy Spirit. Churches die when they move away from the sound doctrine and people stop loving one another, not when they lack plans. Feed your flock and teach the good doctrine and your church will go on. Isn't it good enough for you? I guess not.

  6. 6. The First Pattern: The Church inJerusalemThey devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to thefellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave toanyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meettogether in the temple courts. The Second Pattern: The Church inAntioch In the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers:Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (whohad been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. While theywere worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Setapart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have calledthem.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their handson them and sent them off. Therefore go and makedisciples of all nations, baptizing them in thename of the Father and of the Son and of theHoly Spirit, and teaching them to obeyeverything I have commanded you. And surelyI am with you always, to the very end of theage.” Matthew 28:19-20
