2. The Coa-Comp M is recommended for haemostasis in:
•General Surgery
•Orthopaedic
•Dermatologic
•Vascular
•Thyroid
•ENT
•Plastic
•Paediatric
•Thoracic
3. Ideal for any surgical environment demanding precise
bipolar coagulation
•Lightweight
•Highly Portable
•Rapid setup time
4. Problem Free Coagulation
Heating begins when the blood vessel is grasped between the forceps and
ceases when full coagulation is achieved.
The advanced computerised monitoring system continuously analyses variations
in tissue impedance during coagulation. The generator stops producing bipolar
energy when specific impedance parameters are met. As a result the generator
stops coagulation before the tissue is over-coagulated thereby enhancing the
characteristics of bipolar instruments.
•No sticking
•No charring
5. Easy Information Access
Activation of the Coa-Comp M is confirmed with an LED display and adjustable audible
tone. The alphanumeric display provides information to the operator as to operating
mode, power level, cable/forcep test and the result s of built in self tests.
Automatic Tests and Self
Monitoring
The operator can easily test the Coa-Comp M
to assure that it is functioning properly. Simply
press the forceps together and read the result
on the alphanumeric display. The Coa-Comp M
also continually monitors its own functioning.
6. Testimonial for Coa-Comp M Bipolar Diathermy
“Declarations of Interest? You bet! The Coa-Comp M bipolar diathermy unit is
streets ahead of the competition – and has been for 20 years! You’ve not heard of
it? Well obviously you haven’t worked in Cardiff – because we have six Coa-Comp
machines, but I understand – it’s a funny name (the manufacturer is Swedish) and
until now the machine was rarely promoted in the UK! It is time you tried one of
these wonderful machines! They ‘fly by wire’ and automatically sense the need to
coagulate tissue between the bipolar forceps and stop the current when coagulation
is complete. ‘Simple’! No foot pedal required. I’ve tried all the other machines
(Medical Physicists in Cardiff test all diathermy machines in the UK for the
Department of Health) and nothing else comes close.”
