REGISTERING WITH

4. The first thing you need to do to get up and running with
MyIntelliAccount Web is to register with MyIntelliSource, located at
www.myintellisource.com. When you go to the homepage, you want to
click on the image of a person in the upper right of the navigation bar.

5. The next step is to click the “Register” button to the lower left of the
login information container.

6. Now you are on the registration homepage. Fields in red are required;
fields in blue are optional. Once you enter all the required fields, click
the “Submit” button.

7. If your registration is successful, then you will receive the following
page. Before you may login, you must go to your email inbox and click
an embedded link in an email just sent out by MyIntelliSource’s server
cloud to verify you actually created the account. If you do not see the
email in your inbox, please make sure and check your junk folder.

8. You will receive an email similar to this. Before you can login, you
must click the link in the email to verify you actually created the
account. Once you do this, you may login to the MyIntelliSource
system.

9. Once you click the link embedded in the email, you will get this
message which will tell you your account is now verified and usable. In
the next section, we will cover setting up the application

11. The first thing you need to do to get started setting up
MyIntelliAccount is to login to the MyIntelliSource server cloud. Enter
your security credentials and the security code and then click
“Submit”.

12. You will be taken to the Users homepage where you will select
MyIntelliAccount logo to launch the MyIntelliAccount web
application.

13. Selecting the MyIntelliAccount logo will launch you into the
MyIntelliAccount homepage. From here, in the menu bar that runs
below the navigation bar, you need to select the “Settings” option.
Under “Settings”, you will select “Businesses”, then select “New”.

Creating your business is the first task you must complete before you
may set the other options. In the “Enter New Business” screen, type in
your business’s information. Fields in red are required; fields in blue
are optional. In addition, you may optionally upload a logo to be
presented on documents you print. Once you are done, click the
“Submit” button to enter your first business.

Before you can set the business options, you must first select to use the
business. Under “Settings”, goto “Businesses” → “View/Edit”. This
screen is where the businesses you create may be selected to use or,
optionally, edit your business’s information. To set the other settings
for your business, click the “Use” button to enable it.

MyIntelliAccount uses abstract accounts in place of chart accounts in
most of the application with some exceptions. Under “Settings”, you
will now see a host of options that should be set. I will give an example
of one now for demonstration purposes. Below you see the shipping
account settings option. You will type a name for the account when it
is displayed and selected the background chart accounts that will be
debited and credited upon using this option and click “Submit”.

For printable documents for your customers/vendors,
MyIntelliAccount allows you to customize the look of your document
with a host of selectable options. Select “Settings” → “Printers Defs”
and this will bring up the screen to change the colors and/or text font.
If you selected a logo when you set up your new business, it will be
displayed on the document as shown below. Once you are finished
setting the options, click “Submit” and then click “Home”.

19. From the MyIntelliAccount application homepage, click the
“Customers” → “New” option from the menu bar running below the
navigation bar to begin entering your first customer.

20. In the “Customers” entry screen, you may enter base information and
extended information. The only field required is “Customer”, but if
you select to enter any “Contacts” then at least one field must be
completed and if you select to enter any “Addresses”, then the
“Address Type” and top “Address” field must be completed. Because
you may have multiple customers with the same name, you may enter
duplicate entries in the “Customer” field.

21. To enter “Contact Information” for your customer, click the “Add
Contact” button below the base information. You may add as many
contacts as you like with no limit. As stated before, you must complete
at least one field in each contact information you enter in order to
submit the form.

22. To enter “Address Information” for your customer, click the “Add
Address” button below the “Contact Information” section. You may
add as many addresses for a customer as you like with no limit. As
stated before, you enter complete the “Address Type” field and the top
“Address” field in order to be able to submit.

23. When you are done entering the information you would like to store,
hit the “Submit” button and your new customer information will be
updated to MyIntelliSource’s cloud servers.

24. The process for entering vendors is almost identical to the process for
entering customers. Select “Vendors” → “New” from the menu bar
below the navigation bar. As with customers, two or more vendors
may share an identical “Vendor” field. You may enter as many contacts
and addresses as you like. When you are done, click “Submit” and your
new vendor will be stored in the MyIntelliSource server cloud.

You can set up inventory/services in MyIntelliAccount by clicking
“Inventory” in the menu bar below the navigation bar, then clicking
“Inventory” in the submenu, and then finally clicking “New” in the
right submenu.

To select a product that is not a service, in the “Item Type” field, select
“Product”. Then complete all fields in red; fields in blue are optional.
In MyIntelliAccount, if you set a reorder point, once the inventory level
reaches the reorder point, an email is sent to the primary user
reminding him or her to reorder the particular inventory product in
question.

To enter beginning inventory, scroll down and click the “Add Row”
button. You may enter multiple rows of beginning inventory with
different costs, quantities, effective dates, and the offsetting account
and MyIntelliAccount will cost products as they are sold at the rate you
set.

To enter a service, simply drop down the item type to “Service”. Some
of the fields will become disabled as they are not a part of a service
(Asset Account, COGS, Shrinkage Account). In either the case of a
“Product” or a “Service”, when you are done entering the required
fields, click “Submit” and your new inventory product/service will be
saved to the MyIntelliSource server cloud.

The first task to set up multi-user mode is to sign up for a subscription
to MyIntelliAccount on the MyIntelliSource users homepage. First,
you click on the gear icon in the upper right navigation bar and on the
subsequent drop down menu, select “Users”.

Clicking “Users” brings us back to the “Applications” homepage. To
start the process of setting MyIntelliAccount to multi-user mode, click
the “Billing” tab.

As we have no active MyIntelliAccount subscriptions in place (the
buttons are disabled in the previous MyIntelliAccount subscription),
click the “Create New Subscription” button.

To place MyIntelliAccount into multi-user mode, select
MyIntelliAccount in to “Subscribe To” field, enter your credit card
details, and click “Submit”. Multi-user mode is a paid service based on
the number of active users invited and accepted and is billed monthly.

Once your credit card is approved, you will receive the screen below.
As users are invited and accept their invitations, your credit card will
automatically be billed for the additional users. If you cancel a user
account or the user cancels his/her account with you, then your
number of active users will decrease and your credit card billing
amount will automatically be adjusted.

If we go back, we now see we have an active MyIntelliAccount
subscription in place. If you decide you no longer need your
MyIntelliAccount subscription, you can cancel at any time by
returning to this screen and clicking the “Cancel Subscription” button.
In addition, if you need to change the credit card on file, you may come
back to the screen, click “Update Payment Info”, and enter your new
credit card information.

Now go back to MyIntelliAccount, click “Settings” in the menu bar
directly below the navigation bar, click “Users” → “Invitations” →
“New” in the submenus that follow.

Inviting new users to use your account is very simple and
straightforward. Simply type the email address of the target person,
click “Submit”, and the target user receives an email with an embedded
link that once clicked and registered or logged in, that person may use
your account as a secondary or guest user. You subscription is not
updated until the user successfully clicks the embedded link and
registers or logs in.

Once the user accepts the invitation and registers or logs in, he/she will
initially have no permissions to any businesses you have established in
MyIntelliAccount. Permissions are set on a per business base and can
be different for each business you have registered. To accomplish this,
go to the “Settings” menu bar option, click “Users” → “View/Edit” in
the submenus that follow.

Clicking the menu and submenu options in the previous screen will
bring you to a list of your current secondary or guest users. As
previously stated, an invited user initially has no permissions to any
business you have registered. To begin the process of setting
permissions for a specific user, click the “View/Edit” button on the
right of the row bearing the secondary or guest user’s name.

In this screen, you can do two things. One is to select a business and
set and save permissions for a secondary user by going down the list
and choosing your desired access. The default is “None”. Once you
have selected your desired secondary user’s access, the “Submit”
button will enable and you may click it. The second item you may
accomplish here is to cancel a secondary user’s access totally from your
account and every business in your account by clicking the “Cancel
Acct” button.

Secondary user’s access your account information by logging into their
own primary account and then select your account in the “Account”
drop down menu located in the middle of the navigation bar. Once a
user changes this option, he/she is becoming a secondary user to
someone else’s account. A primary user may be a secondary user on an
unlimited number of accounts.
