3. Reusable Coffee Filter
For the longest
time I have been
using paper coffee
filters. I finally
decided to invest
in a reusable one
and I couldnโt be
happier!
5. Low Flow Shower Head
My shower head was old and leaking water. Putting this
new low flow shower head on fixed the leak and
cleaned up the look of my shower while using
considerably less water.
6. Low Flow Toilets
Low flow toilets allow for
Different amounts of water
To be used. Pull forward for
Small amount and push
Back for larger amount
7. Backyard Composter
Composting is something I have talked about doing for years, but always found
a way to put it off. I have finally done a composter and I love it! The garbage doesnโt
need to be taken out as often (less stinky) and I will have a nutritious garden in the
next few years!
8. Showering With A
Friend/Shorter Showers

9. Hang Dry Clothing/Wash
In Cold Water
Saves energy and saves on my bills! Plus, my clothes last longer and donโt shrink!
10. Recycling/Reusable
Grocery Bags
My roommates had a hard
Time with recycling when they
first moved in. I have now trained
them to recycle almost everything!
11. Riding Bike/Walking
I sold my car and have been biking or
walking everywhere. At first I found it difficult,
but once I got use to it and made decisions
based around my mode of transportation it
became rather simple and easy to do. Plus I
save sooo much money and get in shape, while
decreasing my carbon footprint.
