Saptarshi (Sap) De
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Sap De.
Sap worked directly for me at Jetstar Airways between October 2015 and October 2016. He
was a contractor through PM Partners, but fully embedded into Jetstar, working as the Crew
Planning Projects Coordinator.
Sap was responsible for the project coordination of two separate system delivery and
improvement projects. Between October 2015 and May 2016, Sap was supported by a
Jetstar Operations Delivery Project Manager. From May 2016 onwards, Sap had greater
responsibility in managing the projects autonomously.
Sap has an admirable get-up-and-go attitude to getting things done. For example, he is the
only new teammember I’ve seen at Jetstar who basically onboarded himself in terms of
setting-up his workspace, IT and security, given the lack of established procedures.
Sap is a quick learner and very IT literate. His ability to bridge the technical gap between
system users and IT code-writers was an asset to the projects. He threw himself into the
projects, willingly taking-on tasks beyond pure project coordination to try to drive the best
outcomes. Sap managed to remain positive despite facing a variety of external challenges.
