the scope of accessible tourism.

13. Conclusions
Need to consider all the dimensions of accessibility i.e.
Physical accessibility, people with physical disability-wheelchairs or walking aids;railings, ramps, lifts,
etc,
Sensory accessibility, impaired sight or hearing or other similar impairments-require tactile signs, visual
signs, labels, audio-visual systems, warning sounds for lifts and crossings, etc-
Communication accessibility, communication impairments eg;having difficulties to read, write, hear or
speak, as well as people coming from different cultural backgrounds who require some explanation
or additional information.
We should make India having
Barrier-free destinations: infrastructure and facilities
Transport: by air, land and sea, suitable for all users
High quality services: delivered by trained staff
Activities, exhibits, attractions: allowing participation in tourism by everyone
Marketing, booking systems, web sites & services: information accessible to all
