3. The key to success with Units 4, 5 & 6 is not just knowing
what bits of technology exist but why you should use a
particular piece of technology in a specific set of conditions
to meet a particular need.
e.g. “I would recommend a touch screen
keyboard to select menu items in a fast food
restaurant as it is spill proof, can be wiped
clean and as it shows menu items visually should
be error free when taking orders”.
