eKincare was launched in October 2014 by KiranKalakuntla (Founder & CEO), an engineering and management graduate from Duke University, and AT&T alumni, with over a decade’s experience in building and marketing technology products, and SrikanthSamudrala (Co-founder and CTO), an engineering graduate from IIT Madras with more than 10 years’ experience in developing scalable enterprise applications for Barclays, HSBC and his own startup before joining eKincare. India accounts for 60 per cent of cardiac diseases worldwide. The number of diabetes patients in the country is expected to grow 2X by 2030. One in three Indians suffer from hypertension. Yet, 60 per cent of the population is blissfully unaware of their health risk. eKincare strives to use technology and data to make healthcare decisions more personalized, predictive and preventive.
