72% of regional SaaS companies are younger than 2 years old
• More and more SaaS are getting started, with more than a third in
their first year

Ecosystem: business models
2/3 of SaaS companies have SaaS/Subscriptions as key part of
their business:
• 24% are just getting started with the SaaS model. Consulting/
services is still the majority of their revenues
• 70% of SaaS companies which make more than 50% of their
revenues from subscriptions.

Half of SaaS companies grew organically or with little funds.
• 1 SaaS company out of 4 did not raise money so far. When adding
those who raise less than $100k, it’s close to 50% of companies.
• More than 1/3 of companies raised more than half a million.
