2. I like the album cover as it promotes
isolation, depression and loneliness. This is
portrayed by the lonely figure of Eminem
walking along a road, this relates to the road
of recovery being a lonely and long path. The
‘o’ in the word recovery illustrates hospitals
and where Eminem has come from the
recreation of himself from the man he use to
be. The cover also presents a message to
keep your head up as it can only get better,
keep on the road ahead. The cover doesn’t
really present what type of genre it is due to
the very little amount of imagery presented
because of the deeper meaning behind the
album itself.
The cover show cases the emotions on
Eminem: anger, despair, pain and love. This
pulls the audience in, to make them feel
what Eminem has for parts of his life.
3. I like this album cover as it contributes to all
aspects of the music it shows. Chris browns
album represents his life and what situations
that occur when you are in the spot light,
fame. In the background of the cover there are
pictures presented with captions, these are
obstacles that he has faced. The words
forgiving and enemies illustrate problems and
situations that have erased recently in his life.
The style of the font is big and bold which is
more masculine than small writing, this stands
out more on the cover. Images in the
background represent that he is vain and
thinks he is popular. This suits the style of
music he is trying to put his story across and is
being criticised for it.
4. I like this album cover of Nicki Manaj
illustrates the type of genre for the
music really well and tells the
audience who its intended for. The
colour used pulls the audience into
buying it as it stands out. The name
stupid hoe tells you what the music
is about as well as her side of what
people think of her. The image of
her standing surprise suggests that
she looks at herself a kind of Barbie
and wants to come across to people
like it. The album very much fits
with her personality.
