2. Agent Software
Yukihiro Yoshida (s1110228)
This is software that can independently decide own operation
based on the rule that has been given.
Moreover, the mobile agent indicates the software that
moves autonomous.
There is a type called a robot type in the search engine of
Web, and for example, it automatically goes round a
necessary site even if the user doesn't instruct and scratches
for information.
Thus, if the agent program is sent to the network once, the
user can break the connection with the network.

3. SNMP
Kei Asakura (s1120003)
Protocol to observe and to control telecommunications
equipment connected with network such as router, computers,
and terminals by way of network on TCP/IP network.
The target equipment for the control has the administrative
information data base that is called MIB, and the managed
equipment does an appropriate setting based on MIB of the
object equipment.

4. MIB
Kei Asakura (s1120003)
MIB is information disclosed so that the networking gear that
uses SNMP may inform of the state of the equipment outside.
MIB-II that is MIB mounted in general most widely though
SNMP is a translation provided for as RFC 1155 is provided
for as RFC 1213, and, on the other hand, the structure of
version 2 of MIB is provided for in RFC 1902.
In general, MIB is used to observe the TCP/IP network.
Moreover, there is an enhancing version of MIB according to
the kind of the network that should be managed, too.

Network Management System
5. Kei Asakura (s1120003)
A Network Management System (NMS) is a combination of
hardware and software used to monitor and administer a
network.
Individual network elements in a network are managed by an
element management system.
Network Management System enables network
administrators to identify and resolve problems and
performance bottlenecks before they impact network services.
