1. This is a step-by-step guide on how to beat Snake Escape. Follow these steps closely to
successfully beat the game! Here is the route you should take, red represents the path to obtain
the key, the blue represents the path you take to get to the exit after picking up the key, green
squares are the locations of the plants and the purple areas are the snakeʼs area of movement.
1. The first obstacle you face is the first snake in the game. The snake moves left and right at a
speed of 100 pixels per second, Jimmy moves at a speed of 300 pixels per second. The snake
starts on the left side of the corridor, then moves to the right until it hits the right wall of the corridor.
Once it hits the right wall, it turns back and moves left towards the left wall. Once it reaches the left
wall, it loops the whole movement pattern again.
Move Jimmy to the left side of the corridor, flush with the wall. Wait for the snake to start heading to
the right of the corridor, then move Jimmy up at this exact point:
Once you have cleared the snake, keep to the left wall and move up the corridor. A plant is located
half way up on the right side of the corridor, and another one is found in the top right corner of the
corridor, as long as you stick to the left wall of the corridor, you will be fine. Move forward until to
get to the opening to your left.
2. Once you find the opening on the left, move a few paces to the left and then move up until you
reach the top wall. once you hit the wall, move left along it until you hit another wall. Follow this
wall down, but be cautious, there is a plant near the bottom of it. Edge down the wall slowly until
the wall ends. Keep moving Jimmy down whilst trying to move left, past the wall. The gap between
the wall edge and the plant is small, so make sure you get as close to the wall as possible. Once
you are in the gap between the wall and the plant, move left, past the plant and then move down.
3. Keep moving downwards until you hit a wall. Move left along the wall until the wall ends. stay
close to the wall and move around to the other side of it, so the wall is above Jimmy, but be
cautious, as a snake is located on this side of the wall. Then, move downwards until you hit the
wall on the other side of the corridor. move slowly to your right until you can see the snake
moving up and down. Get flush with the wall, wait for the snake to start heading upwards, and
move to your right at this point:

2. 4. Keep moving along the wall but stop as soon as you begin to see the end of the wall to the right.
Move upwards a few paces and then move right until you hit the wall on your right side. Move
slowly down the wall until you can see the snake that is moving left and right. Wait for the snake to
start heading left and move downwards at this point:
Once you clear the snake, move left a few paces and the move upwards. Move left along the top of
the wall until you see the key.
5. Grab the key, and then go back the way you came up until you pass the snake it step 3.
6. You should now be next to a wall that is below you and you should have just passed the snake
that moves up and down. Now, move upwards until you hit the wall on the other side of the
corridor. Move left until you get the the end of the wall, slowly move around it so that the wall is
now below you. Go a few paces to the right so that the end of the wall is just about visible. Then,
move upwards until you see the end of a wall to your left. Move on top of that wall and move left
along it until there it breaks off and turns downwards.
7. Stay close to the wall going downwards. Move down the wall very carefully, there are a number
of snakes in this corridor. Slowly edge down the wall until you can see the first snake in the
corridor, moving left and right. Stay close to the wall, wait for the snake to move to the left and
move downwards now:
Do not over-shoot once you have passed the snake, as another snake is not far below from the the
snake you just dodged. It is important that you stay on the right of the corridor as there is a plant in
the middle of these two snakes on the left of the corridor. Slowly move down the wall until you see
the next snake and do the same, wait for it to move left and then dodge now:
Now, you have only one snake to dodge to to get to the exit. Slowly move down the corridor, still
keeping to the right wall, until you see the final snake. wait for the snake to start moving left and
then move down now:
8. You have done it! Walk through the door at the bottom of the corridor, you have beaten the
game!
