Is TOD a input or output??
Is this correct?>> Inputs: start, stop, flow meter, counter
Outputs: pump and full light.
Not sure if TOD is a input or output. A TOD is use to take the interger value in the counter accumulator, convert it to BCD(binary coded decimal) and then move this BCD value to the control panel LED display (O:4).
Solution
Inputs to PLC are Start,Stop,Flow meter, Counter
Counter acts as input in the sense that when counter reaches a set value DN bet is set and From the memory input is send to control the light and pump.
Outputs:Full Light, Pump. CU and DN are also outputs whose values are stored in memory and which are then used as inputs.
TOD is neither input nor output. It is just an intermediate stage for data manipulation i.e. convert integer to BCD value.
