2. Romaris slipped into the North Sea on her maiden voyage in June 1965.
Coming from the last large wooden boat manufacturer in Britain, Daglass
of Wisbech, she represented the height of luxury boats in that era.

Construction
Romaris is constructed of 1.25" iroko on steamed and sawn oak frames,
with an iroko deck. She was finished with a mahogany super structure.

3. Propulsion
Powered by 2 Ford "Barracudas" which are still happily working away
today, she produces about 200hp. With a fuel capacity of 4,000 litres she
is well capable of extended voyages.
Accommodation
As a luxury yacht she slept a max of 8 with 2 in the master bedroom, 2 in
the bunk room, 2 in the guest room with its own shower room and 2 in the
crew room.
