12. How to control biopower?

13. De hele (Facebook)wereld is
biopowered
Every day, we run hundreds of tests on Facebook, most of which are rolled
out to a random sample of people to test their impact. For example, you may
have seen a small test for saving news feed stories last week.
Other products might require network effects to be properly tested, so in
those cases we launch to everyone in a specific market, like a whole country.
That’s why we’ve developed a sophisticated and flexible tool called
gatekeeper to make sure tests don't collide with each another and that they
provide statistically meaningful results. This allows us to roll things out slowly
and make improvements as we go. Not every test we do ends up being
integrated into the product, but even failed tests help us understand how to
make Facebook easier to use, faster and more engaging.

dat ze gaan willen is 'hebt ge wel genoeg likes',
als ge ni genoeg likes hebt, moogt ge
onmiddellijk u reactie verwijderen omdat ja, dat
is nu typisch zo in onze school, dan is het
onmiddellijk, wordt ge bekeken van 'oh my god,
ge hebt een foto geplaatst, maar 4 reacties, of
vier likes', dat wordt heel slecht gezien eigenlijk.

16. En wie kan nog zonder?
Louise, 18: Ja, gewoon ja, dan is dat zo van ge weet
van niets meer en komt ge op school en ineens 'ah
weet ge dat al' nee, 'ah dat stond op Facebook', ah
ja, en dan moet ge dat wel
Thomas, 19: ik ken een paar mensen die geen
Facebook hebben, dat is in feite heel ambetant, ook
voor school of zo om dingen door te sturen, om
dingen af te spreken, dat is heel ambetant, dus het
is nuttig gewoon, dus ik zou ni zien waarom ik moet
stoppen of waarom ik zou willen stoppen
