Opportunities for Giving at St. Mary of the Annunciation

2. Corporate tax professional Rodney Metzger
has overseen tax responsibilities for such
corporations as Tower International, Tecumseh
Products Company, and La-Z-Boy. A member
of St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish in
Rockwood, Michigan. He recently began the
men's program "That Man is You", which
focuses on male leadership in the church and
family.
Members of St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish
may share their blessings with others in a
number of ways.
3. Parishioners and others may purchase a
number in a $500 Club raffle drawing, which
benefits St. Mary Catholic School. Each entrant
becomes eligible for one of three prizes in nine
drawings throughout the year. Prize values
range from $40 to $375.
Parishioners may also purchase artwork
created from the church's older stained glass
windows. A sixth-generation parishioner has
refashioned these windows into Christmas
ornaments, jewelry, and other decorative items
to benefit the parish.
4. Those who wish to donate to the broader
community may make a contribution to
the Giving Basket Food Pantry, a parish
outreach program in place since 2004.
The program helps to feed 60 families
across the Monroe County area and
depends on donations of food, supplies,
and funds to remain in operation.
