Leadership is defined as influence, with influence involving moving people to change their thinking and behavior. There are four primary leadership styles - Directors, Inspirationals, Diplomats, and Analyticals - with the key to influence being the leader's style. Influence and power are closely related, with individual, corporate, and positional power all playing a role in how influence is exercised within a church by its bishops, elders, and congregation. The ultimate goal of a leader's influence is transformation.
