How To Add Accountability To Your Internet Marketing Coaching Business
1. How To Add Accountability
To Your Internet Marketing
Coaching Business
By Rick Salas
Accountability plays a big part in a coaching business so
I’m going to show you how to add accountability to your
internet marketing coaching business.
That’s why I’m writing about it here but just like the
many components of a coaching program, you can choose
to add it or not. Remember that it’s your coaching
program and you can move faster depending on how you
choose to run your business.
Just because somebody teaches you that you need it
doesn’t mean it will be for you. Remember it’s your
decision. You can do with it or not. You have to decide
how you want to work.
Not everybody will want to spend the time on it but it
always brings better results for your clients. It may be
something you add that propels you above your
competition, especially if not very many coaches in your
niche are doing it.
2. So here’s how we add accountability to a coaching
business. You can have daily weekly and monthly
accountability. You can have it twice a week or 3 times a
month. You will get a certain result with monthly
accountability but better results with weekly and even
better results with daily.
What you will do is have your coaching clients send you
through an email, spreadsheet or document, what they
have completed for the past week. Or if it’s daily, what
they have completed for the last day.
It depends on how much time you have to run your
coaching business. Those people should be targeted
people that are willing to do the work to achieve desired
results anyway. So the way you market means a lot.
Market to those demographics that want to learn who you
are and what you can do for them. You might get some
people that don’t want to do accountability but that’s ok.
The ones that want to respond will respond and those that
don’t wont. Some people want to still do it the easy way.
Isn’t that right? Isn’t that the way the internet comes
across?
That anybody can just click a few buttons or listen to a
few trainings and they’re on the way. So you will get
different clients.
3. But if you market correctly, most will want to do
accountability because they are willing to do the work.
With that being said, when you start to scale up your
coaching business or even before, the best way I have
found to implement this is to apply a strategy that allows
you to not have to comment on all those results your
clients send in.
As you build your coaching program you’ll have to spend
more time helping more people.
So think ahead and be prepared. Have a plan in place that
gives you time to focus on the most important things in
your business.
What you can do is scan through all those results people
send in and answer only the ones that need a response.
Maybe you want to send a congrats for doing a great job
or just something motivating.
Later on you can have an assistant and they can go
through all those and they can give you only the ones that
you need to respond to. You answer only the ones that
you need to answer, you’ll get more results for more
people and you can charge more.
You can’t brand somebody else by sending them to
another coach for that guidance.
4. You have to work your way from one level of expertise to
the next until you are the best expert in a certain segment
of demographic. Keep applying what you learn and you
will begin to be able to give answers on all of the things
people in your niche need to know.
You’ll be learning along the way and do a great job
because you can always look up the answer and get back
to them. But you keep tabs on who is doing the work and
those that are falling behind.
Remember that they are going to be accountable to you,
so they are going to want to get those accountability
results out to you. If they are falling behind they will
usually make it up and get those to you so that you can
evaluate how they’re doing.
In whatever niche you are in, you should or work towards
learning every component those people need to be the
best. If they are not the best or don’t care about being the
best, it’s your responsibility to have a way to get them
there.
I also believe it’s your responsibility, if you are an
internet marketing coach to teach your clients on topics
such as “how to add accountability to your internet
marketing coaching business”.
