2. I. Opportunity
The purpose of this activity is to assist t he awareness of the EBI
employees towards precautionary understanding in meeting their
responsibilities for maintaining adequate disaster safety measure in premises
which they occupy.
The seminar/activity sets out the general- procedures and precautions to be
followed and outlines the use and care of fire-fighting equipment and disaster
alarms. Precautions to be taken in respect of certain specific circumstances
are also included.
It is important that fire safety systems and evacuation plan are tested and
procedures monitored on a routine basis.
II. Goal
To ensure cooperation of all Enterprise Bank employees and departments are
charged with specific activities knowledge in time of an emergency or
calamity.
III. Objectives
To familiarize facility personnel with the signals and emergency action
required under varied conditions.
To minimize effects of any incident of disaster proportions upon plant and
community personnel
IV.Success Criteria
Implementation of Fire and Earthquake Drill to test the effectiveness of
existing plan and to keep property and equipment loss at a minimum that
training is necessary to ensure the health and safety of all people in the
building.
V. Strategic Alignment
To ensure appropriate cooperative action by and with outside civic and
government agencies like BFP and Davao-911.
3. This is an important part of the seminar in which the fire policy of the building
should be discussed. Matters that should be included are:-
Fire alarm signals;
Escape routes;
Assembly point; and
Emphasis of the importance of fire doors and emergency back doors.
VI.Assumptions/Risk
Assumptions:
Outsource and Guest Speakers from Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and
Davao City’s 911.
It is important that a record of this training is made and a form (Fire Safety
First’s Presentation Attendance Sheet) and (Earthquake Drill
Compliance) has been provided.
RISK:
Delayed and/or denied approval from the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and
board of Directors.
During the scheduled event a postponement of activity due to inimitable
circumstances that takes place.

c. Project Breakdown:
Preparation
It covers the actions in the event of becoming aware of a
emergency occurrence during earthquake, after earthquake, fire
and upon discovering a fire. The different types of portable
equipment commonly found in buildings and their use are also
discussed. The training provides only general information and
issues specific to EBI building will need to be addressed.
Introduction to Presentation
It is suggested that a short introduction be given stating:-
That training is necessary to ensure the health and
safety of all people in the building.
Session in which building specific matters such as
the fire policy and evacuation will be discussed
and questions taken.
Session
An important part of the presentation in which the fire policy
and evacuati on plan of the building should be discussed.
Presentation Review
Review should be made for any points arising and actioned as
required.
