The First And Hardest Part Of Writing An Essay
The first and hardest part of writing an essay is figuring out how to start. A professor may give a
topic to be written about, but in some cases that may not happen. The first step is to pick a topic.
The topic will serve as your thesis. You want to pick a topic that you are relatively knowledgeable
about so you are not completely in the dark. By picking a topic that you know even a little about,
will take away the anxiety of not knowing where to start or what to write about. If you chose to
challenge yourself and write a paper about something you are novice about, then you want to pick
a topic that is broad enough to find enough information about. For example, if you want to write a
paper about cars, do not make cars what your paper is about, because although it is a broad topic
it is also somewhat narrow. Try to broaden your topic buy changing it to, "how cars have changed
our lives." Changing your topic to a more argumentative thesis gives you a pinpoint area to write
about and leaves the door open to give you more to write about. The second step, and what I believe
to be the most important step is locating sources to support your thesis. A researchessay without
sources becomes an opinion essay, and that is what you as the writer want to stay away from.
Sources make your essay more creditable. If your essay is about "how technology has benefited
students and teachers in the classrooms," then you should find sources that are about how
technology is used in

My Writing Essay
My Writing
In the past four years, I have written many papers for various classes, enjoying some and others
having to choke out words to write down. In this memo I will describe my writing projects and
how they made me become a better writer, and how they will continue to help develop me into a
becoming a more prosperous writer.
What I Really Learned in English 100
Well as a recent pupil of the Great McFadden I want to do all that I can to be on his good side, for he
said that if I go one mile to meet him, he will go two miles to meet me, which seems more that fair.
As an assignment I am told that I have to write what I learned in English 100 and how that it
prepared me for English 200. Well sincehonesty is the best way of...show more content...
Having taken many writing classes I have learned many things about writing. I enjoy writing and
can often write many pages about things that I am interested in. I know that I have more learning to
do about writing, and hopefully in the next couple weeks my knowledge of writing will have
expanded and my writing will have improved.
My Experience With Writing Arguments
I am unaware of any writing arguments. The only thing I can really think of is writing a research
paper with the intent to change people's minds on a certain subject. I remember researching for
weeks in the library, looking through magazine after magazine. I had searched for enough
information to write a ten–page paper. The writing process of the paper took several weeks but
when I had finished, all the hard work was worth the effort. I learned many things from that course
such as that you need to search for all the information you can because it is better to have too much
information than not enough. Also that course taught me many things about making references to
the authors of the articles I used for my paper. I remember writing out note card after note card and
keeping all the necessary information about each book or magazine. That course taught me to
become a better writer and to respect how much detail really goes into a research paper like I had
written. Other than that, I have not really had much experience in

Call Of Duty Essay
Game Review 8:
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
This game is the real modern– future warfare. The game has a very high defined and a large variety
of guns to choose from. Call of duty games have always delivered a simulation of a real feel of a
modern day battle field, in its series. This particular version is a representation of a battlefield in
2065, the field is dominated by unimaginable war machines, if you are a call of duty series enthuse
you know that the soldier on your team is usually the best friend in these games with his warnings
and his directives. The most noticeable difference in this version is that every aspect of this game is
fine tuned for Co–op play, right from the highly advanced war technological fighters to the zombie

This highly advanced backpack allows a player to perform spectacular stunts; you can use the pack
to fly high. The pack also comes in handy when you are looking for a quick escape from danger.
Another benefit of the thruster pack, is that all its inputs are easily controllable using just a single
button hence you avoid distraction, and have the right time to completely destroy your enemy or
make a swift escape from them.
The games graphics are highly detailed; this makes the missions more captivating. There are two
breakout missions, to create a new experience far from the other styles of play. You have the option
to alternate between dogfighting in a jet and battling enemies on foot. The other involves hacking
into someone's mind and fighting the memories of a long–past battle. Both represent Call of Duty at
its best: big showpiece missions that feel distinct both in style and in the challenges you face. But
they're ultimately stones striking a pond, their ripples lost to the stillness. On the whole, this
campaign is very one–note, albeit one that sounds better in concert.
Call of Duty: Black Ops is a spectacular modern warfare game, to enjoy the game better is when
you play with a friend either online or you called a friend over, as the multiplayer style is
particularly maximized in this

Reflection Of Creative Writing
It is my belief that through this class and the tools provided, that my growth as a writer has grown
through leaps and bounds I would never have assumed possible. It is not so much the skill I refer
to, although I would think skill has gone up in some levels as well, but more so the appreciation for
the craft of writing itself. Intially, at the start of this class my sole goal was to further my
understanding and appreciation of the writer's and books that I so love to read. Through further
evaluation within the first week, a few other goals came to mind, of which were, making writing
a habit, finishing what I start, stop second guess my writing skills and making effective use of
detail and description. Through the use of the many articles, various reading materials, whether
poems or short stories, and especially through the workshop, I feel I was able to really push
myself to accomplishing these goals. I have thus far learned how important it is not to be skilled
at writing per say, but to have the will to write, that poetry is as much about it's sound as it is about
it's subject, just how important character development is, how the narration and point of view of a
story is essential to the way the story is told, and just how much of a difference peer's critiques can
make to your writing.
Since before the beginning of this creative writing course, I have always struggled to find a point to
writing. By this, I mean that I always felt that having great skill and talent was what was required
to be a writer, let alone a great one. From this point, I felt there was no need to continue my
writing as I felt that in a sense it just wasn't good enough. However, reading the article "A Way of
Writing", I found new hope. Here was a writer who says things such as "I must be willing to fail. If
I am to keep on writing, I cannot bother to insist on high standards. I must get into action and not let
anything stop me, or even slow me much"(Stafford) and quotes that writers don't necessarily have
any special talent. The article "Why I Write" instilled further optimism through the authors view on
just being a writer, not focusing on being good or bad. I found her words in which she writes
"entirely to find out what I'm

A Love Story Essays
I met her two years ago and we did not have much to say at that time. Little did I know that she
would later steal my heart and become an intimate part of my life. As the saying goes "there is
someone for anyone at any time in this life" and I was about to find out that this saying was so
true. I have had a wall built around me and my defense was as a stronghold to protect myself from
all the relationships that have come and gone over the years. I thought that I was meant to be
alone in this old life and happiness was forever gone from me. This wonderful woman I am speaking
of is Mary Doe, and the joy she has given me has revived my hope and faith that I may have finally
found love and peace within. She has made me feel like I am a child...show more content...

range and after around three hours just riding and enjoying the peace and quite of being away
from everything I noticed a figure walking towards me. I was not worried but just curious as to
who it may be. When I drew nearer I could tell it was a woman. I thought to myself why is she out
here all alone and walking. This was horse country and there was nothing for miles around that
she could walk too. When we finally came face to face I could see that she was crying and that tears
were coming down and such a sad look on her face. I dismounted and asked if "I may be of any
help? She began to cry all the much harder and tried to talk but her emotions had the best of her. I
took a chance and put my arms around her and let her cry until there seemed to be no more tears in
which she would be able to shed. When she did finally look at me her eyes were so sad and I took
my hand and softly brushed away the tears flowing down her cheeks. I asked if there was
anything I could do for her, and she said "no, I must handle this my way". "How are you going to
handle anything out here all alone and crying the way you are"? Mary Doe then looked at me and

Essay on Writing Experience
My Writing Experiences My experiences in writing have been minimal. I have only learned the
basics of writing, like putting together sentences, forming paragraphs with sentences, and things
like that. Since I have been taking college English, I can tell my writing has improved a lot. In the
future, I hope to be able to improve tremendously at writing essays, paragraphs, research papers,
documents, and stories so that I have very little to no errors with drafting and final products. I
predict I will be a well rounded writer when I graduate from college. Writing in the past started in
kindergarten. My teacher taught me how to write my name over and over until I could write it with
no errors. All through elementary my teachers taught me...show more content...
I need to learn to quit thinking as much on what I want to write about and how to write about a topic
and just starting jotting stuff down in outline form as it comes to mind. Run–ons and fragments I
need to be able to spot and fix right away or I really need to not have any in my papers at all. My
goals are to write papers and not have to reassure myself that maybe I need to do more research or
have more data or even have to rethink my whole topic over. I would love to have the knowledge
to be a tutor someday and teach other people how to properly write papers, paragraphs, essays,
and maybe even books. To have excellent skills in writing will definitely be a great advantage in
my nursing profession. In nursing, I will have to do lots of charting on my patients. I will have to
do health presentations on various subjects such as exercising, how our society eats, and sex
education if I want to be a course instructor. Researching information on all of those topics I will
have to make sure I do an excellent job on and collect accurate information and statistics so that I
can compare to other sources. Dictating to the doctor means that I will need to write properly so
that he understands what I am saying. Other nurses will have to be able to understand what I am
talking about by my writing skills when doing shift changes. I will have to be very precise so that
other nurses will not

The Most Memorable Meal Essay
The Most Memorable Meal
As a food lover and adventurous eater, I've certainly eaten so many kinds of food from many
countries around the world. And I have a lot of good and bad moments related to food. However,
when you ask me about the most memorable meal that I have eaten in my life, perhaps the first thing
that appears in my mind is my daddy's soup.
It was 10 years ago, when I was just a little boy. At that time, my mom had so much work at her
office and she just couldn't come back home until 9 p.m. In my family, my mom was the only one
who could prepare food and cook. So when she called my dad and said that she couldn't come back
home early to cook a meal for me and my father, we thought that we were having the biggest problem

And I was so surprised about my dad's soup. All my thoughts about a great meal were taken down.
The soup was not as delicious as it looked, it tasted so weird: at first, I felt it so salty, after a while,
it tasted so spicy. After tasting the first sip, I looked at my dad and smiled. He just thought that he
was successful with his soup until he tried his first sip. Then he knew how his soup was and he
said "Sorry son, I tried my best, maybe we can wait for mom to come back home and cook dinner
for us." As soon as he finished speaking, I took the spoon, continued eating the soup and smiled. I
know the soup was not good, but it was from my dad, from all his love for me. I don't know if my
dad knew what I was thinking or not, or maybe he thought that I was so hungry to eat everything
even though it tasted too bad. My dad was so surprised about my act for a while, and he continued
to eat the soup with me. We both had a great time together, eating and talking with each other
about bad things, good things at work and school. After that, my mom finally came home. She
looked so tired from her work, but she still smiled and looked at me and my dad while both of us
were eating soup. She surely knew my dad made something for me and she slowly went forward to
the table and started tasting the soup. After her tasting, not a single word, she hugged both of us
with her slender arms and also with all her heart. This

Greatest Invention Essays
What is the greatest invention of all time?
Throughout time there have been lots of new inventions which have both hindered and helped
everyday life with humans. There are many different possible world's greatest inventions because
they have all helped out humankind in some way, some more than others.
I think that the greatest invention of all time is Harnessed Electricity. Some may argue that this was
not an invention it was a discovery but although electricity itself was a discovery there was still the
invention of had to use it and what it could be used for. I think that electricity is very important to
human life because it would be nearly impossible to do anything we do today. If we didn't have
electricity a lot of things would...show more content...
I believe that the use of electricity in healthcare is more important than the use of penicillin because
of the x–rays, MRI scans, life support machines, cat scans, ultrasound, surgery lighting, heart rate
monitors, incubators and loads of other much needed specialist equipment. This equipment has
over the years helped to save millions of lives and although penicillin helps to treat the odd few
illnesses it doesn't help to run a well equipped hospital which saves even more lives with the billions
of people who visit a hospital every year.
Without electricity there would be no light and it would constantly be dark from around 4pm ever
day. This would restrict most people from doing things because as soon as it was dark they would
have to go to bed because there would be no lighting. Nobody could go out after dark as there
would be no street lights on the roads and houses would have to be lit by candle light which
wouldn't give of the strength of light that a light bulb does now. Yet again it would be exactly like
living in the dark ages.

Personal Narrative: Goodbye My Best Friend Essay
Goodbye It is amazing how many things we take for granted. We make plans for the day, and don't
think twice about how those plans can be taken away in the blink of an eye. I never thought much
about it myself, until I was faced with the shock, and undeniable truth of my cousin's death. I don't
think anyone really thinks about tragedy until they are actually faced with shocking news.
It was a bright and warm summer morning when I woke from a good night sleep. Nothing prepared
me for the dark, gloomy and sad day ahead of me. You see, this was the day that my cousin and
childhood best friend passed away in an auto accident. Bright, intelligent, loving and caring 16 year

Whatever she was doing, she gave it 110%.
Around the age of 10, we started getting very involved with school sports. She lived in
Byrdstown and found her gift which was cheering, of course mine was Basketball. As time went
on, we only got to see each other at basketball games and special occasions. But, we always knew
that we would be best friends forever. On June 18th 2006, I lost my cousin to a freak auto

childhood best friend was gone. I could never run up and hug her at the basketball game. I could
never get to see or talk to her at the reunions or any other family get togethers. We had many
experiences together as I said before. One I remember most is when we always met and went to
Obey River in Pickett county. We went all through the summer, we always knew what out plans
were going to turn out to be. We would start by always playing in the water while our parents would

Kanye West. One of the most meaningful names in history, where it is literally decorated with a

Kanye West Effect, signifying obnoxious confidence. In the pop realm, it alludes to ill–mannered
individuals whose actions are often defined by reckless behavior. In the business world, it represents
the underestimated success of self–starters. In my English class, however, it refers to the creative

I am, indeed, a quite arrogant and ambitious individual, two attributes that most distinctively
define me. When an ordinary student enters a classroom, s/he usually is entering with a goal of
learning. On the other hand, I am the student who enters a classroom with the mindset that thy are
not worthy of my patience. This mindset can only be dissolved when the professor exceeds the
arrogance and confidence that I maintain. And Professor had successfully broken my stubborn
walls of ego, only to repair it sixteen weeks later into a stronger wall of ego. When my walls are
broken, I tend to rebuild them off of what I take from the destroyer, who in this case was
Professor. Without the walls, I generally strive to learn and grasp and prove myself, and that is
exactly what had happened. During this period of "walllessness," I was introduced to two major
weakness of mine that consistently got in the way of my writing: verbosity and insistence. It is hard
to admit, though the truth is as blatant as can possibly be, that verbosity is a refuge for desperate
writers trying to not look desperate. Verbosity reliably contaminates my literary pieces, whether this
be a letter, a research essay, or even a poem. With complete gratitude, I would like to note that
Professor was brutally honest with this fault of mine, but it was for my sake, which I completely
respect. Perhaps using "irrevocability" to define "ultimate defeat" was

October 19, 2016 Reflection Paper
It's hard to believe that it's already time for Midterms in my English 101 class. The adventure has
been a lot easier than I at first anticipated. In any case, I am happy that I am taking the class and

way through this class regardless of what difficulties I needed to persevere.
On the first day of my English 101 class I was apprehensive, I had no clue what's in store from the
class. As I discovered what the class would have been similar to, I let myself know I was going to
attempt to get an B or higher toward the end of the semester and put all the exertion I had into each

My Experience At The Hotel
These days, there have been a number of hotels in various cities, towns and countries. From when
I was young to now, I have visited many inns since I loved to travel to somewhere. I had any
feeling and impression about hotels where I have been before I became eighteen years old. Hotels
were just hotels that I needed to stay for the night. No more than that I thought. Before I went to
Canada to study English in 2011, my family had a plan to travel somewhere and stay in a hotel for
my farewell in Korea. After we visited many attractions, we were heading to the hotel that we
made a reservation. When I saw the entrance of the hotel, I was surprised at first, and when we went
inside of the hotel, I was surprised again. For two days, I was very impressed and I thought a lot in
positive ways. I always had a desire to visit again and I wanted to get a hotel like that inn. It was the
first time for me to know what I want to become. The trip to the hotel was totally changed my life

When we arrived at the hotel, a man, who looked a staff, did valet parking service for us, and we

we came here. While going there, small waterfall and many various flowerpots welcomed us. I

Summer season is the best time for festivals and activities. You can never get bored on a summer

annoying and boring, especially if you don't get a day off. At the moment, my routine is to wake

idea of a perfect day for me should be a day to get rid of stress, and should be an unforgettable day.

I Met My Best Friend
For every person that exists, there is at least one other person with whom they will laugh with,
love with, and live life with. These are the people who will support the decisions you make,
encourage you to keep going after massive failures and love you despite all your flaws. We cherish
the relationships we build and the friendships we have because without friends, we would be alone.
I met my best friend when I was eleven–years–old. Our teacher forced us to sit next to each other
after the first few days of school. We didn't talk to each other much because we both had our own
friends. However, one day, we decided to each lunch together and we started hanging out more
and more. Soon, we became inseparable. People could tell that we were best friends by the way
we acted around each other. Much like my best friend and I, the devotion and loyalty between two
friends are shown through real life interactions. However, written words can also show how much
two friends care for one another. Text messages and wedding speeches may seem to have no
connection to each other but both genres reveal how close two people are. A wedding speech is
usually given by the maid–of–honor and the best man. These two positions hold special meaning
because it is meant to be given by someone whom the bride and groom cherish and love. To be
given the position of maid–of–honor or best man already shows how much love and respect the
bride or groom has for their friend. Wedding speeches, in return, show

one chance and if they aren't satisfied they will not do business with that company again, as well
as tell others of their experience. The next step would be to exceed the customer's expectations. If a
business goes above and beyond to assist the customer they begin to build loyalty. The next step is
to truly surprise the customer. In order to dominate the marketplace the company must find a way to
make them selves stand out with their product or service, accompanied with phenomenal customer
service. Once this has been done customer satisfaction and loyalty will be gained. "Acquiring a new
customer can cost four or five times more than keeping a current customer" (Bestmark, 2013). So it's
essential to keep the current customer's happy and coming back for more.
Some of the ways that businesses can build loyalty would be by offering loyalty programs,
Interacting with customers, surveys, creating institutional ties, and personalized marketing. Another
way to build loyalty is to treat your employees so well that they treat your customers well. If you
have happy employees they will treat your customers happy. "The link between satisfaction and
loyalty however is not proportional" (Kotler, Keller, 2009, p71), so businesses must

  • 1. The First And Hardest Part Of Writing An Essay The first and hardest part of writing an essay is figuring out how to start. A professor may give a topic to be written about, but in some cases that may not happen. The first step is to pick a topic. The topic will serve as your thesis. You want to pick a topic that you are relatively knowledgeable about so you are not completely in the dark. By picking a topic that you know even a little about, will take away the anxiety of not knowing where to start or what to write about. If you chose to challenge yourself and write a paper about something you are novice about, then you want to pick a topic that is broad enough to find enough information about. For example, if you want to write a paper about cars, do not make cars what your paper is about, because although it is a broad topic it is also somewhat narrow. Try to broaden your topic buy changing it to, "how cars have changed our lives." Changing your topic to a more argumentative thesis gives you a pinpoint area to write about and leaves the door open to give you more to write about. The second step, and what I believe to be the most important step is locating sources to support your thesis. A researchessay without sources becomes an opinion essay, and that is what you as the writer want to stay away from. Sources make your essay more creditable. If your essay is about "how technology has benefited students and teachers in the classrooms," then you should find sources that are about how technology is used in Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. My Writing Essay My Writing In the past four years, I have written many papers for various classes, enjoying some and others having to choke out words to write down. In this memo I will describe my writing projects and how they made me become a better writer, and how they will continue to help develop me into a becoming a more prosperous writer. What I Really Learned in English 100 Well as a recent pupil of the Great McFadden I want to do all that I can to be on his good side, for he said that if I go one mile to meet him, he will go two miles to meet me, which seems more that fair. As an assignment I am told that I have to write what I learned in English 100 and how that it prepared me for English 200. Well sincehonesty is the best way of...show more content... Having taken many writing classes I have learned many things about writing. I enjoy writing and can often write many pages about things that I am interested in. I know that I have more learning to do about writing, and hopefully in the next couple weeks my knowledge of writing will have expanded and my writing will have improved. My Experience With Writing Arguments I am unaware of any writing arguments. The only thing I can really think of is writing a research paper with the intent to change people's minds on a certain subject. I remember researching for weeks in the library, looking through magazine after magazine. I had searched for enough information to write a ten–page paper. The writing process of the paper took several weeks but when I had finished, all the hard work was worth the effort. I learned many things from that course such as that you need to search for all the information you can because it is better to have too much information than not enough. Also that course taught me many things about making references to the authors of the articles I used for my paper. I remember writing out note card after note card and keeping all the necessary information about each book or magazine. That course taught me to become a better writer and to respect how much detail really goes into a research paper like I had written. Other than that, I have not really had much experience in Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Call Of Duty Essay Game Review 8: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 This game is the real modern– future warfare. The game has a very high defined and a large variety of guns to choose from. Call of duty games have always delivered a simulation of a real feel of a modern day battle field, in its series. This particular version is a representation of a battlefield in 2065, the field is dominated by unimaginable war machines, if you are a call of duty series enthuse you know that the soldier on your team is usually the best friend in these games with his warnings and his directives. The most noticeable difference in this version is that every aspect of this game is fine tuned for Co–op play, right from the highly advanced war technological fighters to the zombie like killers....show more content... This highly advanced backpack allows a player to perform spectacular stunts; you can use the pack to fly high. The pack also comes in handy when you are looking for a quick escape from danger. Another benefit of the thruster pack, is that all its inputs are easily controllable using just a single button hence you avoid distraction, and have the right time to completely destroy your enemy or make a swift escape from them. The games graphics are highly detailed; this makes the missions more captivating. There are two breakout missions, to create a new experience far from the other styles of play. You have the option to alternate between dogfighting in a jet and battling enemies on foot. The other involves hacking into someone's mind and fighting the memories of a long–past battle. Both represent Call of Duty at its best: big showpiece missions that feel distinct both in style and in the challenges you face. But they're ultimately stones striking a pond, their ripples lost to the stillness. On the whole, this campaign is very one–note, albeit one that sounds better in concert. Call of Duty: Black Ops is a spectacular modern warfare game, to enjoy the game better is when you play with a friend either online or you called a friend over, as the multiplayer style is particularly maximized in this Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Reflection Of Creative Writing It is my belief that through this class and the tools provided, that my growth as a writer has grown through leaps and bounds I would never have assumed possible. It is not so much the skill I refer to, although I would think skill has gone up in some levels as well, but more so the appreciation for the craft of writing itself. Intially, at the start of this class my sole goal was to further my understanding and appreciation of the writer's and books that I so love to read. Through further evaluation within the first week, a few other goals came to mind, of which were, making writing a habit, finishing what I start, stop second guess my writing skills and making effective use of detail and description. Through the use of the many articles, various reading materials, whether poems or short stories, and especially through the workshop, I feel I was able to really push myself to accomplishing these goals. I have thus far learned how important it is not to be skilled at writing per say, but to have the will to write, that poetry is as much about it's sound as it is about it's subject, just how important character development is, how the narration and point of view of a story is essential to the way the story is told, and just how much of a difference peer's critiques can make to your writing. Since before the beginning of this creative writing course, I have always struggled to find a point to writing. By this, I mean that I always felt that having great skill and talent was what was required to be a writer, let alone a great one. From this point, I felt there was no need to continue my writing as I felt that in a sense it just wasn't good enough. However, reading the article "A Way of Writing", I found new hope. Here was a writer who says things such as "I must be willing to fail. If I am to keep on writing, I cannot bother to insist on high standards. I must get into action and not let anything stop me, or even slow me much"(Stafford) and quotes that writers don't necessarily have any special talent. The article "Why I Write" instilled further optimism through the authors view on just being a writer, not focusing on being good or bad. I found her words in which she writes "entirely to find out what I'm Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. A Love Story Essays I met her two years ago and we did not have much to say at that time. Little did I know that she would later steal my heart and become an intimate part of my life. As the saying goes "there is someone for anyone at any time in this life" and I was about to find out that this saying was so true. I have had a wall built around me and my defense was as a stronghold to protect myself from all the relationships that have come and gone over the years. I thought that I was meant to be alone in this old life and happiness was forever gone from me. This wonderful woman I am speaking of is Mary Doe, and the joy she has given me has revived my hope and faith that I may have finally found love and peace within. She has made me feel like I am a child...show more content... "People will only try to take advantage of you if you open the door for them to do so". "Be strong, be independent, and above all love, love, love when you find someone worthy of your love". Even my dreams consist of her. Last night I dreamed that I was riding out on the open range and after around three hours just riding and enjoying the peace and quite of being away from everything I noticed a figure walking towards me. I was not worried but just curious as to who it may be. When I drew nearer I could tell it was a woman. I thought to myself why is she out here all alone and walking. This was horse country and there was nothing for miles around that she could walk too. When we finally came face to face I could see that she was crying and that tears were coming down and such a sad look on her face. I dismounted and asked if "I may be of any help? She began to cry all the much harder and tried to talk but her emotions had the best of her. I took a chance and put my arms around her and let her cry until there seemed to be no more tears in which she would be able to shed. When she did finally look at me her eyes were so sad and I took my hand and softly brushed away the tears flowing down her cheeks. I asked if there was anything I could do for her, and she said "no, I must handle this my way". "How are you going to handle anything out here all alone and crying the way you are"? Mary Doe then looked at me and said, "you Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Essay on Writing Experience My Writing Experiences My experiences in writing have been minimal. I have only learned the basics of writing, like putting together sentences, forming paragraphs with sentences, and things like that. Since I have been taking college English, I can tell my writing has improved a lot. In the future, I hope to be able to improve tremendously at writing essays, paragraphs, research papers, documents, and stories so that I have very little to no errors with drafting and final products. I predict I will be a well rounded writer when I graduate from college. Writing in the past started in kindergarten. My teacher taught me how to write my name over and over until I could write it with no errors. All through elementary my teachers taught me...show more content... I need to learn to quit thinking as much on what I want to write about and how to write about a topic and just starting jotting stuff down in outline form as it comes to mind. Run–ons and fragments I need to be able to spot and fix right away or I really need to not have any in my papers at all. My goals are to write papers and not have to reassure myself that maybe I need to do more research or have more data or even have to rethink my whole topic over. I would love to have the knowledge to be a tutor someday and teach other people how to properly write papers, paragraphs, essays, and maybe even books. To have excellent skills in writing will definitely be a great advantage in my nursing profession. In nursing, I will have to do lots of charting on my patients. I will have to do health presentations on various subjects such as exercising, how our society eats, and sex education if I want to be a course instructor. Researching information on all of those topics I will have to make sure I do an excellent job on and collect accurate information and statistics so that I can compare to other sources. • 7. The Most Memorable Meal Essay The Most Memorable Meal As a food lover and adventurous eater, I've certainly eaten so many kinds of food from many countries around the world. And I have a lot of good and bad moments related to food. However, when you ask me about the most memorable meal that I have eaten in my life, perhaps the first thing that appears in my mind is my daddy's soup. It was 10 years ago, when I was just a little boy. At that time, my mom had so much work at her office and she just couldn't come back home until 9 p.m. In my family, my mom was the only one who could prepare food and cook. So when she called my dad and said that she couldn't come back home early to cook a meal for me and my father, we thought that we were having the biggest problem in...show more content... And I was so surprised about my dad's soup. All my thoughts about a great meal were taken down. The soup was not as delicious as it looked, it tasted so weird: at first, I felt it so salty, after a while, it tasted so spicy. After tasting the first sip, I looked at my dad and smiled. He just thought that he was successful with his soup until he tried his first sip. Then he knew how his soup was and he said "Sorry son, I tried my best, maybe we can wait for mom to come back home and cook dinner for us." As soon as he finished speaking, I took the spoon, continued eating the soup and smiled. I know the soup was not good, but it was from my dad, from all his love for me. I don't know if my dad knew what I was thinking or not, or maybe he thought that I was so hungry to eat everything even though it tasted too bad. My dad was so surprised about my act for a while, and he continued to eat the soup with me. We both had a great time together, eating and talking with each other about bad things, good things at work and school. After that, my mom finally came home. She looked so tired from her work, but she still smiled and looked at me and my dad while both of us were eating soup. She surely knew my dad made something for me and she slowly went forward to the table and started tasting the soup. After her tasting, not a single word, she hugged both of us with her slender arms and also with all her heart. This Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Greatest Invention Essays What is the greatest invention of all time? Throughout time there have been lots of new inventions which have both hindered and helped everyday life with humans. There are many different possible world's greatest inventions because they have all helped out humankind in some way, some more than others. I think that the greatest invention of all time is Harnessed Electricity. Some may argue that this was not an invention it was a discovery but although electricity itself was a discovery there was still the invention of had to use it and what it could be used for. I think that electricity is very important to human life because it would be nearly impossible to do anything we do today. If we didn't have electricity a lot of things would...show more content... I believe that the use of electricity in healthcare is more important than the use of penicillin because of the x–rays, MRI scans, life support machines, cat scans, ultrasound, surgery lighting, heart rate monitors, incubators and loads of other much needed specialist equipment. This equipment has over the years helped to save millions of lives and although penicillin helps to treat the odd few illnesses it doesn't help to run a well equipped hospital which saves even more lives with the billions of people who visit a hospital every year. Without electricity there would be no light and it would constantly be dark from around 4pm ever day. This would restrict most people from doing things because as soon as it was dark they would have to go to bed because there would be no lighting. Nobody could go out after dark as there would be no street lights on the roads and houses would have to be lit by candle light which wouldn't give of the strength of light that a light bulb does now. Yet again it would be exactly like living in the dark ages. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Personal Narrative: Goodbye My Best Friend Essay Goodbye It is amazing how many things we take for granted. We make plans for the day, and don't think twice about how those plans can be taken away in the blink of an eye. I never thought much about it myself, until I was faced with the shock, and undeniable truth of my cousin's death. I don't think anyone really thinks about tragedy until they are actually faced with shocking news. It was a bright and warm summer morning when I woke from a good night sleep. Nothing prepared me for the dark, gloomy and sad day ahead of me. You see, this was the day that my cousin and childhood best friend passed away in an auto accident. She lived in Byrdstown and found her gift which was cheering, of course mine was Basketball. As time went on, we only got to see each other at basketball games and special occasions. But, we always knew that we would be best friends forever. On June 18th 2006, I lost my cousin to a freak auto accident. The Papers read Auto accident claims local teen. The only thing I know was that childhood best friend was gone. I could never run up and hug her at the basketball game. I could never get to see or talk to her at the reunions or any other family get togethers. We had many experiences together as I said before. One I remember most is when we always met and went to Obey River in Pickett county. We went all through the summer, we always knew what out plans were going to turn out to be. • 10. Kanye West Essay Examples Kanye West. One of the most meaningful names in history, where it is literally decorated with a bunch of different meanings. In the everyday society, it is a phenomenon popularly known as the Kanye West Effect, signifying obnoxious confidence. In the pop realm, it alludes to ill–mannered individuals whose actions are often defined by reckless behavior. In the business world, it represents the underestimated success of self–starters. In my English class, however, it refers to the creative introductions to essays, in which success is what we strive for, confidence is what we intend to attain, and reckless behavior is what we are encouraged to avoid. In other words, Kanye West has become the symbolic figure in my English course, representing...show more content... I am, indeed, a quite arrogant and ambitious individual, two attributes that most distinctively define me. When an ordinary student enters a classroom, s/he usually is entering with a goal of learning. On the other hand, I am the student who enters a classroom with the mindset that thy are not worthy of my patience. This mindset can only be dissolved when the professor exceeds the arrogance and confidence that I maintain. And Professor had successfully broken my stubborn walls of ego, only to repair it sixteen weeks later into a stronger wall of ego. When my walls are broken, I tend to rebuild them off of what I take from the destroyer, who in this case was Professor. Without the walls, I generally strive to learn and grasp and prove myself, and that is exactly what had happened. During this period of "walllessness," I was introduced to two major weakness of mine that consistently got in the way of my writing: verbosity and insistence. It is hard to admit, though the truth is as blatant as can possibly be, that verbosity is a refuge for desperate writers trying to not look desperate. Verbosity reliably contaminates my literary pieces, whether this be a letter, a research essay, or even a poem. With complete gratitude, I would like to note that Professor was brutally honest with this fault of mine, but it was for my sake, which I completely respect. • 14. My Experience At The Hotel These days, there have been a number of hotels in various cities, towns and countries. From when I was young to now, I have visited many inns since I loved to travel to somewhere. I had any feeling and impression about hotels where I have been before I became eighteen years old. Hotels were just hotels that I needed to stay for the night. No more than that I thought. Before I went to Canada to study English in 2011, my family had a plan to travel somewhere and stay in a hotel for my farewell in Korea. After we visited many attractions, we were heading to the hotel that we made a reservation. When I saw the entrance of the hotel, I was surprised at first, and when we went inside of the hotel, I was surprised again. For two days, I was very impressed and I thought a lot in positive ways. I always had a desire to visit again and I wanted to get a hotel like that inn. It was the first time for me to know what I want to become. The trip to the hotel was totally changed my life and my dream. When we arrived at the hotel, a man, who looked a staff, did valet parking service for us, and we moved to the desk to get a card key. We certainly checked in and we followed the guide of one of the employees. He let my family get in a cart, and he guided us to our room where we reserved before we came here. While going there, small waterfall and many various flowerpots welcomed us. I could see that our room was being close to us, which was designed as a modern building. Summer time is a great time to relax with friends and family by soaking up the sun at a beach or simply having dinner together. • 17. My Best Day Essay : My Perfect Day Have you ever wondered what a perfect day would be like? An everyday routine starts to get annoying and boring, especially if you don't get a day off. At the moment, my routine is to wake up early, get ready for school, go to school, and after a long day come back home. From the time I get home which is around two in the afternoon and by the time I go to sleep, it all consists of doing homework. Sometimes I wish I can at least take a day off and relax, with having no worries. The idea of a perfect day for me should be a day to get rid of stress, and should be an unforgettable day. This day was one of the best days I've ever had because it's been forever since I've taken a break. Many people might do something like this on a regular day, but for me it was one of the days where I got to stay in bed, relax, and let all of the stress out. • 18. I Met My Best Friend For every person that exists, there is at least one other person with whom they will laugh with, love with, and live life with. These are the people who will support the decisions you make, encourage you to keep going after massive failures and love you despite all your flaws. We cherish the relationships we build and the friendships we have because without friends, we would be alone. I met my best friend when I was eleven–years–old. Our teacher forced us to sit next to each other after the first few days of school. We didn't talk to each other much because we both had our own friends. However, one day, we decided to each lunch together and we started hanging out more and more. Soon, we became inseparable. People could tell that we were best friends by the way we acted around each other. Much like my best friend and I, the devotion and loyalty between two friends are shown through real life interactions. However, written words can also show how much two friends care for one another. Text messages and wedding speeches may seem to have no connection to each other but both genres reveal how close two people are. A wedding speech is usually given by the maid–of–honor and the best man. These two positions hold special meaning because it is meant to be given by someone whom the bride and groom cherish and love. To be given the position of maid–of–honor or best man already shows how much love and respect the bride or groom has for their friend. Wedding speeches, in return, show Get more content on HelpWriting.net

The most important first step is to satisfy the customer by meeting their expectations. Customers only give a company one chance and if they aren't satisfied they will not do business with that company again, as well as tell others of their experience. The next step would be to exceed the customer's expectations. If a business goes above and beyond to assist the customer they begin to build loyalty. The next step is to truly surprise the customer. In order to dominate the marketplace the company must find a way to make them selves stand out with their product or service, accompanied with phenomenal customer service. Once this has been done customer satisfaction and loyalty will be gained. "Acquiring a new customer can cost four or five times more than keeping a current customer" (Bestmark, 2013). So it's essential to keep the current customer's happy and coming back for more. Some of the ways that businesses can build loyalty would be by offering loyalty programs, Interacting with customers, surveys, creating institutional ties, and personalized marketing. Another way to build loyalty is to treat your employees so well that they treat your customers well. If you have happy employees they will treat your customers happy.
