Course Objectives
In today's challenging airline environment,
airlines constantly seek ways to cut costs and
explore smart business solutions to boost profit.
This 3-day short course builds on the experience
of ERAU’s long-standing aviation management
degree programs and strong connections to the
industry through research and consulting activi-
ties and extensive alumni network.
With a team of leading industry experts and top
academics, the short course aims to provide the
participants with a global perspectives into the
air transport industry with an intensive summary
of the current issues and the key factors that
influence airline success.

This short course is intended for air transport
industry managers, managers in related industry
seeking insight to the airline industry, and avia-
tion professionals entering a management role,
government policy makers and regulators.

The College of Business represents outstanding teach-
ers and scholars within the two academic departments
offering both undergraduate and graduate business
degrees as well as a minor in business.
Our faculty are consistently recognized for outstanding
scholarship and teaching in their respective disciplines.
Embry-Riddle’s College of Business is located on the
Daytona Beach, Florida campus in the new state-of-the-
art College of Business building. The campus is adjacent
to the world famous Daytona Speedway and the Day-
tona Beach International Airport. Travel time to Day-
tona’s beautiful white sand beach is about 10 minutes.
Orlando’s theme attractions are about an hour-and-a-half
away, and we are about an hour north of Cape Canaver-
al. Outdoor activities can be enjoyed year-round because
of the mild Central Florida winters.

Cancellation Policy: A company may substitute another individual
to attend the course with a minimum of five business days advanced
notice. Participants may cancel course registration fifteen or more
business days prior to the start date; cancellations will incur a $100
processing fee. If cancellation occurs fourteen business days or less
prior to the course start date, a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the
course price will be incurred. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
reserves the right to cancel a course and in the unlikely event that a
course be cancelled, will make every effort to reschedule and carry
the registration to an alternate date.
