2. Sandy Bruty had initially chosen
three friends to join her in
moving to Honeywood Station.
Melissa and Marylena were able
to make it from their hometown
of Pleasantview, but Calista was
stuck at university for another
semester. Ever the optimist,
Sandy was bound to make the
best of it.
3. Even though her friends would
only be staying with her for a
few months while everything
started up, Sandy designed her
home with guests in mind.
Particularly if a couple of hunky
men from SimCity were to ever
want to visit.
4. Unlike Sandy, Marylena
Hamilton was ready to settle
down as of yesterday. To her,
Honeywood was the perfect
place to start a family away
from the crassness of more
traditional sub-urbs.
6. The Bruty Gallery of Art was not
much to look at, but it certainly
was something. Sandy wanted
this to be her legacy, something
for the world to remember her
by. But for now it was just a
bit... Unfinished.
7. Each of the girls had their
specialties. Sandy was the
creator, Marylena the cashier,
and Melissa the saleswoman.
8. Sandy could barely keep up
with the demand. Tourists were
willing to pay an arm and a leg
for her pieces (although
admittedly it seemed like some
of them were ..ahem.. The work
of other artists).
10. By the fall, the Bruty Gallery of
Art was a level 10 business.
11. The gallery gave the girls the
opportunity to meet many men
who would be willing to join
them. One of those men was
Brandon Lillard, who had taken
a liking to Melissa.
24. However, things in Sandy’s
home were not as idyllic as they
seemed. Sandy was a staunch
romance sim and saw no
relationship as having
boundaries. It didn’t matter
whether or not Brandon was
married- Melissa was a romance
sim, too, so wouldn’t she
understand?
25.
26. Melissa and Brandon’s daughter
Tabitha Lillard was one of the
first sims born in Honeywood
Station. Whether she was the
absolute first would go on to be
a fact that was disputed for
generations with the McQueens
who swore that their first born
was months earlier (however an
error was made on the birth
certificate and never corrected).
27. The thought of a baby sent
Brandon’s head spinning. Even
though he knew Melissa was
pregnant, he wasn’t truly
prepared for fatherhood.
28. And when it came to
motherhood, Melissa wasn’t
ready either.
29. “So Brandon, you want to check
in with me in my room?”
“WHAT?!?”
31. “You’d think a romance sim
would understand, wouldn’t
you, Sheldon?”
“I’m a fortune sim, Sandy.”
32. Karma would get Sandy in the
end. With her friends ready to
move out at the end of the
month, she found herself
pregnant with her (former) best
friend’s husband’s child.
34. Her son Gordon Hamilton was
born a healthy baby to a healthy
mother.
35. And when the time came, she
found her entire family a plot of
land to call their own.
36. Tabitha became a toddler
before Melissa knew what she
was going to do with her family.
She was going to try and make
it work with Brandon, but it
would be a chilly marriage. It
would be up to him to help her
leave a mark on this new town
and do something big.
37. When the Lillards moved onto
their plot of land, the Pavillion
opened up a couple blocks
away. The Three Lakes Badgers
junior hockey team invested
into a rink nearby for practice
and the GM chose Honeywood
as their new location.
38. Week 2 Stats will be posted when Week 2 is complete.
