2. The Lillards prepared their
home believing that Tabitha
would be their one and only
child. Melissa didn’t know when
or even if she could forgive
Brandon, but she knew she
couldn’t divorce him.
3. Going back to Pleasantview as a
single mother would devastate
her reputation. The scandal of
local Sim State baseball coach
Daniel Pleasant and the maid, as
well as Don Lothario’s affair with
the Caliente twins meant
Melissa would be bundled up in
gossip and drama that she
didn’t need.
4. It didn’t help that her daughter
Tabitha seemed to have picked
up on her anger toward
Brandon.
5. After purchasing a piece of land
along the highway next to their
home, Melissa called a few of
Brandon’s old friends from
Pleasantview to recruit for her
business.
6. Komei Tellerman was already in
the midst of transferring jobs to
Honeywood Station. A former
Sim State champion hockey
player, he had recently become
the assistant coach for the Three
Lakes WHL team his sister Jan
played for. But for the summer,
he was just a guy doing a friend
a favour.
7. Once upon a time, Komei
dreamed of being a doctor, but
he had since given that up. He
was content to just make a few
simoleons here and there to
keep himself happy.
8. Jan Tellerman was living her
dream, though. She was on
track to become a Hall of Famer
and nothing would stop her.
Together, the Tellermans
brought in $16000
10. Strangely enough, knowing that
Brandon was actually putting
them effort into making her
happy eased Melissa’s tension.
They decided to be cordial… in
the romance sim sense.
11. When Tabitha became a child,
Melissa knew it was time to turn
the plot of land by the highway
into something of value.
13. Brandon was stuck on kitchen
duty so he wouldn’t interact
with any female customers.
14. Komei became the server, Jan
the hostess, and Melissa sold
sims into giving her gold stars.
15. What really helped push the
diner to level 5 though was the
positive review they received
from an out of town passer-by.
16. Melissa was no longer angry
with Brandon. He had done
what she wanted and she felt
she had something to show for
moving all the way to
Honeywood.
17.
18. Tabitha and Komei were like
peas in a pod. She looked up to
him and he dotted on her. The
thought crossed his mind that
maybe he should think about
starting a family of his own.
19. For Brandon, he had really
warmed up to being a father.
The night Tabitha was born he
was a wreck, but now he was a
natural.
21. When Komei was inducted into
the Hall of Fame, it felt hollow.
He wasn’t proud of the
accomplishment, but he wasn’t
upset about it either. He just
felt… unfulfilled.
22. The only other kid in her class at
Wallowa Park Elementary from
Honeywood was Jacob
McQueen, so Tabitha was quick
to latch onto him. He taught
her how to play chess and
argued that she couldn’t really
have been the first sim born in
Honeywood Station because his
brother was a teenager.
Her retort? “Nu-unh.”
23. Working as a hostess didn’t
guarantee that Jan was any
good at cooking. She managed
to cause the second fire in
Honeywood.
24.
25. The second child that Melissa
gave birth to was named
Harrison Lillard.
27. With the Lillard house too
crowded, the Tellermans left
one Sunday evening to move
into their own home.
28. Things accomplished by the Lillards:
- 1 position in the Culinary career
- 1 additional fire (1 more until a position in Law Enforcement opens up)
- 15K toward the university fund for a total so far of $155K
