2. Outline
In ‘Dead End’ the plot is
about 2 girls who have
run away from their
problems to an
abandoned house but
people have gone
missing there. After
they disappear 2
investigators go in to
uncover what has
happened.
3. Characters
Georgia – Plays an investigator trying to
solve the disappearance of the two girls.
Sarah – Plays the second investigator with
Georgia trying to solve the case, however;
is infact involved in the crime.
Bea – Plays one of the young girls who goes
missing in the house,
Rachel – Plays one of the girls who goes
missing.
4. Props & Costume
Both Investigators: Both will be dressed
formally, suits, shirts etc.
Victims: Both wear casual clothing.
Household Props: TV, Sofa (old & dirty),
Litter, leaves.
Investigators Office: Photos, desk, table,
chairs, table lamp, old clothes (evidence).
5. Lighting
In House: dark, dim lighting, limited lighting.
Investigators office: Strong spotlight on the
desk, artificial light.
Outside: Natural light.
6. Setting
Based in Castle field house, mainly for the
scenes inside the house where the two
girls go missing but also used for the
investigators office. Scenes also shot
outside in the woodland/green area
surrounding Castle field house. Some
scenes also shot down the main road next
to college grounds.
7. Sound
Soundtrack to be played throughout the title
sequence but with some vocal sounds and
also action sounds, such as movement,
doors closing etc.
8. Scenes
Household scenes (investigation): scenes to
be shot in black & white to enhance the
‘darker’ aspect of the story and also make
it more scary.
Household scenes (office): Shot in normal
colour.
