3. COMPARISON WITH THE
1ST GROUP
Similarities:
• In their research , they showed various eateries where
they serve regional Italian food , ice-cream , bed &
breakfast as well as snacks. These all things are served
here in India as well.That too for all class of people.That
is for below middle class we have few restaurants that
serve the above things at a cheap rate , for average class
people we have few restaurants that serve the same food
at an affordable rate and so on.The quality obviously
differs.But it follows the saying that something better
than nothing.
• The people are very much satisfied as they can
themselves choose whether they want to eat the food at an
affordable rates or spend more money in a 5 star hotel.
4. Difference:
• Hotels in India , serves Indian food very deliciously but it
also serves various kinds of food eaten by people outside
India.
• For eg:Italian , Mexican , Chinese and so on.So if a
foreigner visits the country(India) , he will be having many
options that is he can make a choice from Indian food and
also the food that is served in his country.Whereas this is
not the case in case of Indians visiting foreign countries.As
there is not much varities of Indian food served there.
• The restaurants or cafeteria in schools /colleges are much
hygienic as compared to their .The workers working in the
kitchen wear hand gloves while cooking as well as serving
food.
5. Conclusion:
• There are many similarities but the varieties
served in India and the rates at which it is being sold makes
it different and better from the rest.
6. COMPARISON WITH THE
2nd GROUP
Similarities:
• In their research they showed various eateries where they served
all baked items and also an ice cream parlour.These all things are
served in India as well.For eg: We have pizza hut where different
types of pizzas are served , infact they bake their own bread .Of a
similar kind we have subways.
• Also we have many bakery which provides all types of baked
products and at an affordable rate.Also there are various ice
creams parlour .The prices diifers as the quality increases.Various
ice cream parlour here in India offers a discount on every 1st of
the month.The discount of 50% off on various flavours.This
benefits the college students as well as the school students as this
helps them to save their pocket moneys.
7. Differences:
• In their research they said “the custodians don’t wear gloves
or caps for the hygienic , but they wash their hands
properly.And one person takes the money and the other gives
the food to the people , so they don’t touch the food with their
dirty hands.”Here in India , the people working within the
school canteen wear gloves while cooking as well as serving
the food.There is a separate counter for cash where firstly the
coupons has to be purchased and later the students have to go
on the repective food counters to collect their food.The
canteen here is much hygienic as well as healthy.
• There are many bakeries in every nooks and corner here.Right
from all baked items , they also serve various varieities of
chips,fresh baked breads and all varieities of sweets as well.
8. Conclusion:
There are many similarities and also few differences
in the eateries in India but the quality of the food served along
with the varieties and also at a cheap rate makes it different
and better from the rest
9. GROUP REFLECTION
What went well?
Ans:The work was equally divided and everyone excelled
in their respective works.Being work equally divided
there was no pressure on any particular person.Due to
this everyone was able to concentrate on the work
assigned to them.At the end each one of us leanrned
something new.Also the understanding and co-
ordination between us grew as we were doing this
assignment.Each one us worked their best and learnt
many new thing through this assignment for eg:the
knowledge that we gathered regarding this assignment ,
co-ordination and punctuality.
10. What would you do differently?
Ans:The next time we take any assignments , first of all we will
make sure to complete them much before the date of
submission so that we have enough time to make any edition
if there are any error.Secondly we will not put ourselves in the
comfort zone which means each of one will get us assigned
the work which we are new at.This will help us to learn and
get exposed to new things.This will also help us to be
confident , the next time we get any assignment.
11. What did you learn from this project?
Ans:We have developed self confidence as we ourselves went to
take the interview of the hotel manager.We also developed
team spirit as we learnt how to work as a team.As working
individually is quite easy as compared to group work.When
we work individually , its all on us how we perform.Whereas
in a team work , the performance depends on the entire group.
