When Navigating a Catastrophic Loss
Insurance Claim
They can provide important information
For example:
City of San Diego: Info. on debris removal, erosion control,
variances, permits and other issues
CDI: Helpline available at 1(800)927-4357
They can put pressure on the insurance industry

Extension of Time to Rebuild/Replace and Policy Renewal
Assurances
7. THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS!
As a group…the 2007 Firestorm Survivors…you have
CLOUT!
You have every right to ask your elected officials any or
all of the following:
TO HELP SOLVE THE PROBLEMS YOU ARE NOW FACING;
TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS FOR THE FUTURE;
TO ASK WHY THESE PROBLEMS STILL EXIST AFTER 2003,
(e.g., How did THEY vote on homeowner’s insurance reform
measures in 2004 and 2005?)
