SIGNIFICANT ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Microcontroller Based Protection of Three Phase Induction Motor Jan 2017- May 2017
• Designed and implemented the hardware of a cheap and reliable system for protection of three phase induction motor
from over/under voltage, overload and single-phasing.
• Developed assembly language program on the Keil platform for AT89C51 microcontroller.
• Utilized the LM324 comparator to compare the rectified and filtered dc voltage with a reference voltage and produce
the digital output.
• Integrated a 10 A/250 V AC relay driver module and 16X2 LCD display to make or break contacts and display the required
values respectively.
• Accomplished a cost saving of 37.5% when compared to existing models available by making use of innovative
technologies such as Hall effect sensor ACS712 with Instrumentation amplifier AD620 to measure current.
Fire Rescue System in Railways Jan2016-May2016
