2. Superintendent: Provides educational leadership by creating a vision and set goals for the
district in regards to technology. Ensures that a technology plan is in place and offers
support in meeting the goals outlined in the Texas Long Range Plan.
Director of Secondary and Elementary Education: Provides educational leadership in
regards to curriculum and technology to the campus principals. Collaborates with
Technology Director the needs of the district and responds with the direction to meeting
the technology goals.
Technology Director: Develops the long range plan for the district based on data.
Maintains budget for technology and places orders for items needed and oversees District
Tech Supports.
District Tech Supports: Provides support for overseeing the network equipment and access.
Responsible for installation and maintenance of all devices in the district.
Campus Principals: Provides educational leadership to their campus staff in regards of
meeting the goals outlined in the technology plan. Finds the means to provide a 21st
century education to the students. Provides opportunities for professional development to
staff members in regards to technology.
Campus Tech: Works with teachers in maintaining technology equipment and providing
tech support.
Academic Specialist: Facilitates the integration of technology into curriculum and offers
mentoring and guidance to teaching staff.
Teachers: Provides a 21st century education using technology tools available to effectively
teach the TEKS.
