2. Anna Dementieva was born in 1994, 28th of Decemder in Samara.
She came in gymnastics even from the children's garden, situated
close to the gymnastic corps at the stadium “Metallurg”, which before
the construction of the “Grace” remained the only base for training of
gymnasts. Trainer Elena Zhiganova attracted a combination of soft,
beautiful lines of the body when she saw a four-year charming blond
girl . Ann`s energy was in full swing.
Ann`s mother and two grandmothers didn't know where to send
it. Therefore, the invitation to come to the view to the gym in the
family received with joy. But since the mother of Anna Dementieva
became a real fan of gymnastics.
3. Entrusting the training process with three times occupations, which
lasts for 6-7 hours the coaching team of Savushkin - Zhiganova,
Ann`s mother helps her daughter in everything else. And because of
this fanatical devotion to her mother, Michael Savushkin thinks that
Anya had never thought about quitting gymnastics during ten years
of training as so often happens with young athletes.
4. 2008 - at the Junior championship of Europe – the first place in the
team tournament.
2009 - at the Cup of Russia on sports gymnastics Anna won the
bronze medal in the all around, and also won the silver medal in the
floor exercise and balance beam.
2010 - XLII FIFA world gymnastics Anna won the gold in the team
competition.
5. She was winner in such competitions as:

2011 - IV European Championships in artistic gymnastics
2011 – The Cup of Russia of sports gymnastics
2011 - XLIII FIFA world gymnastics

We are proud of our world champion in command superiority (2010);
the absolute champion of Europe (2011), the champion of Europe in
exercise on a log (2011), the winner and the prize-winner of stages of
the World Cup, the champion of Europe among juniors in command
superiority (2008); winner of the World Gymnasiade (2009); three
times the multiple champion of Russia; the owner, twice multiple silver
and twice the multiple bronze prize-winner of the Cup of Russia.
