Edward Egorov has been a chess teacher at the school since 1990, teaching over 1600 pupils, many of whom have become chess champions. As a chess teacher, he incorporates computers into lessons to make them more engaging and helps develop pupils' logical and abstract thinking skills through chess, improving their performance in other school subjects. His pupils frequently participate in chess contests in Novgorod and other regions, winning many certificates and diplomas under his guidance.
