2. WHAT IS THE ENGINEERING?
It is the application of scientific knowledge to the invention,
development and use of any technology in all its determinations.
This application is characterized by mainly use the ingenuity of a
more pragmatic and flexible so that the scientific method, as an
engineering activity usually is limited to a given time and
resources for projects.
The wit involves having a combination of wisdom and inspiration
to model any system in practice.

3. The main role of the engineer is to design or develop
technological solutions to social, industrial or economic
needs solutions, for which the engineer must identify and
understand the most important obstacles to make a good
design.
Engineers use knowledge of science, mathematics, and
appropriate experience to find the best solutions to specific
problems by creating the appropriate mathematical models
that allow them to analyze problems thoroughly and test
potential solutions.

The University of Toronto has three campuses: St. George,
Mississauga and Scarborough .The largest is St. George,
located in the city center, which houses the Faculty of
Applied Science and Engineering.
