1. AIPMT 2016
The AIPMT 2016 or All India Pre Medical Test 2016 will be conducted by CBSE for
admissions in the 15% All India Quota seats for MBBS and BDS courses offered by Medical and
Dental Colleges all over India except for the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh and
Telangana.
The Exam is conducted every year and is the foremost Medical and Dental Entrance Test for
Under Graduate courses.
AIPMT 2016 Application Form
The AIPMT 2016 Application Form will be available tentatively from December, 2015. The
Application can only be filled via the online mode and no other method.
The All India Pre Medical Test or AIPMT is the most important national level Medical Entrance
Examination conducted for admissions into the 15% All India Quota MBBS and BDS seats
offered by the Participating States and Universities all over India except for the states of Andhra
Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Telangana.
The AIPMT 2016 Application Form will only be available online and has to be filled by
completing the following steps:
Online Registration: The Online Registration has to be completed by the Student on the official
website of AIPMT: www.aipmt.nic.in .
Uploading Documents: The Candidate after the registration has to upload his/her documents
including Photograph, Thumb Impression and Signature. The Candidate has to do the same in the
specified format as mentioned in the guidelines.
Completing the form and Payment: The Candidate has to finally complete the form by filling
the remaining details. Finally they have to complete the payment procedure via Online or Offline
mode. After the payment process is complete the Application Form has to be saved for further
reference.
AIPMT 2016 Eligibility Criteria:
AIPMT 2016 Eligibility Criteria for 15% All India Quota Seats are as follows:
2. (i)He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or
before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is
an INDIAN NATIONAL.
(ii) The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota Seats is 25
years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this
upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled
Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes. Candidate must born on or between
(a) 01/01/87 to 01/01/2000 (SC/ST/OBC Category)
(b) 01/01/92 to 01/01/2000 (Other Category)
(iii) Candidates from Andhra Pradesh, J & K and Telangana:
(a) Students from the States of Andhra Pradesh, J & K and Telangana are NOT ELIGIBLE for
15% all India quota seats as both these States had opted out of All India Scheme since its
inception. If they claim eligibility, they must upload Self Declaration , as per proforma given in
Appendix - II, on a Plain Paper to the effect that:- i) They are not eligible to seek admission for
MBBS/BDS seats in Medical/ Dental Colleges in the States of Andhra Pradesh, J & K and
Telangana. ii) They are not domiciled in Andhra Pradesh, J & K and Telangana.
(b) Online Applications not supported with the required scanned Self Declaration in original as
per format given at Appendix - II or incomplete, unsigned or photocopy of the Self Declaration
shall be summarily rejected without any further reference in the matter. (c) The Self Declaration
made by such candidates will be verified and if found to be false, the admission of all such
candidates shall be cancelled and criminal proceedings may be initiated against them. (d)
Candidates from the States of Andhra Pradesh, J & K and Telangana can appear in AIPMT for
admission to AFMC, Pune.
Eligibility for seats under the control of participating States/Universities/Institutions and
AFMC
a. He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or
before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is
an INDIAN NATIONAL.
b. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) may also appear in AIPMT for admission in seats under the
control of participating States/Universities/Institutions subject to rules and regulations of the
Government of India, respective State Governments and the University/Institution concerned.
OCI candidates may verify eligibility norms of participating States/Universities/Institutions
before applying for AIPMT 2015
3. c. The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under seats in the control of participating
States/Universities/Institutions shall be as per their rules and regulations.

AIPMT 2016 Result:
The AIPMT 2016 Result will be declared tentatively in the month of June, 2016. The AIPMT
Result 2016 will be declared online on the official website of AIPMT:
www.aipmt.nic.in or www.cbseresults.nic.in by CBSE.
6. After the AIPMT 2016 Result is declared the AIPMT Counselling will start immediately for
admissions in the 15% All India Quota Seats for MBBS and BDS courses offered by the
Participating States, Colleges and Universities.
The AIPMT 2016 Result will be declared only for the qualified candidates and will contain the
Candidate’s total Score along with his/her All India Rank (AIR). The minimum qualifying score
for AIPMT last year was as follows:

AIPMT 2016 MeritList:
The AIPMT 2016 Merit List will be prepared based upon the marks obtained by the candidates
in AIPMT 2016. The AIPMT Merit list will be used for admissions in the participating states and
Universities.
AIPMT 2016 Counselling Procedure:
The AIPMT Counselling will be conducted online in 3 rounds respectively. After the 3 Rounds
are completed the seats for the MBBS and BDS courses offered for the 15% All India Quota
seats by the participating colleges will be filled. The Seats which remain vacant after the
completion of the 3 rounds of counselling will be given back to the respective state to fill by their
own criteria for admissions.
