1. Objective: Looking for a position of responsibility, where in my experience of close
functional and personal relationship with men, material and resources for over 30 yrs, Risk
management and Prospective Planning activities in various assignments and situations in the Army,
Government of India and Public Sector Enterprises can be optimized for organizational growth;
concurrently provide me an avenue for professional and personal development.
2. Profile:
(a) An Army Officer with sound foundation based on academic background of Sainik
School, National Defence Academy and international academic institutions coupled with
commensurate administrative and managerial skills, eloquent communication skill with
fluency in English, Hindi and working knowledge of French.
(b) Areas of Competence are in the field large enterprise Operation, Administration,
logistics, Risk Management and Community development.
(c) Topper of the course in Crisis Management at US and recipient of Vashist Seva
Medal for outstanding contribution to Pan India Infrastructure Security for Ministry of
Defence Establishments have served in various assignments directly involved in policy
formulation and implementation of the core competence as stated above. With wide
exposure to European and US security environment, I have the aptitude to grasp high end
norms and understanding of protocols being followed nationally and internationally in various
facets of resource management and negotiation skills.
3. Proficiency:
(a) Organizational Ability: Indian Army known to be an officer led organization
enshrines in me a leader with professional and social approach to organizational roles. I have
the ability to approach any subject methodically, with uncanny ability to quickly adapt to a
situation, out of the box solutions and manage the available resource judiciously for
accomplishment of tasks.
(b) Risk Mitigation. As Chief Security Officer of Ministry of Defence, India and
Executive Director Security and Safety in a Power Sector undertaking, have the exposure to
national and international security and crisis situations, I have the knowledge and hands on
experience in Risk assessment, preventions and mitigation technique for corporate
developmental goals.
(c) Team Orientation. A leader of men in war and peace has given an inbuilt instinct
to understand human behavior and optimizing the team’s ability to collectively own and
execute the organizational responsibilities. Having closely interacted and operated with army
officers, academicians and entrepreneurs of the world during my stay in France, US and
Israel, I have the understanding of protocols, negotiation techniques and positive image
building for the organization.

5. Professional Experience. Some of the appointments held during the course of the services
which has had profound impact on my core competence is given below.
(a) Executive Director. Present appointment in a Mini Ratna, Power Public Sector
Enterprises have the responsibility to advise top management in various facets of Risk
mitigation at corporate level and monitor Law and Order Situation and Industrial Relation to
prevent any internal and external conditions inimical to the interest of the company. Have
authored Papers on Decision making and Security as tool for Corporate management.
(b) Brigadier General Staff (Info System). The appointment involved policy
formulation and implementation of Army Equipment policy for troops deployed in the Eastern
Region of the country. In addition, prospective planning for the new raisings and advice the
highest military commander of the region on the applicability of new generation equipment in
changing security situation.
(c) Brigade Commander. Responsible for training and administration of 5000 troops,
more than 400 vehicles and equipment and the families including station development and
welfare activities. Wrote policy paper on HR as tool of empowerment within Armed
forces.
(d) Chief Security Officer, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi. Responsible for policy
formulation and implementation of men, material, infrastructure and cyber security, VVIP
security and part of security mechanism for national events like Republic day and
Independence Day. As Secretary to the Empowered Security Committee, drew
framework for bilateral security protocols and authored Security and Fire Manual for
Pan India Defence infrastructure.
(e) Commanding Officer Infantry Battalion. Responsible for training and
administration of 1000 body of troops, close interaction with civil administration for crisis
management, community development and Rescue and Relief operations. I have written
papers for national security organizations on dealing with development strategy in
disturbed areas of North East States of India.
(f) Deputy Commander. As deputy commander was responsible for conduct of
Amar Nath Yatra in the yr 2011. The conduct was flawless with more than three lakhs yatri
visiting the cave without any mishap. The responsibility included transit facility, security and
administration during visit to the holy cave situated in a glaciated terrain.

(g) Officer in charge Foreign Training, New Delhi. Responsible for management of
foreign army officers coming to India and Indian Officers going abroad to include interaction
with Embassies, travel plans and constant monitoring of their conduct and other training
activities.
(h) Instructor National Defence Academy, Pune. Responsible for training and
grooming of Young boys from varied background in to a Leader of Men and a Gentlemen.
(i) International Exposure. As member of Ecole Militaire, Paris, APCSS, USA and
other national and International alumni fraternity have a wide range of associates for advice
and facilitations. Wrote a paper for Asia- Pacific think tank on Crisis Triggers in the
region and its mitigation strategy.

(b) Graduate in Comprehensive Crisis Management Course from Asia Pacific Centre for
Security Studies, Honolulu, US of A.
