Gartner (http://www.gartner.com) was engaged by Tata Steel between 2002 - 2003 to develop the long term IT strategy as a first step to integrating various IT platforms across the large company, a precursor to Tata Steel's subsequent globalization. I was a full time member of the cross functional team.
