2. WHAT IS A FORMAL LETTER?
A formal letter, also known as a business letter, is a letter written
in formal language with a specific structure and layout.
Formal letters are generally used by businesses to
communicate with other businesses and individuals to
communicate with businesses. The main features are a polite
and respectful tone, short length, correct format and no
grammatical or spelling mistakes.”
