RAJIV TAMBE
Rajiv Tambe has been consistently working for children,
Writing for them, teaching them using innovative methods,
coaching and training teachers, meeting and counseling parents.
While working for some NGOs and for UNICEF and as a free
lance journalist, he has traveled extensively visiting schools,
helping teachers and students, in the most remote parts and
tribal areas of the state of Maharashtra, including areas that are
not accessible by usual road transport.
2
His methods are unique and innovative, all resulting out of
his rich and varied experience, rather than bookish and pedantic
theories. His contact and appeal is almost immediate as his
audience naturally connects with him sensing the sincerity of
purpose.
Through his stories, articles, seminars, workshops, TV
shows, he successfully reaches out to children and wins over all
those readers, listeners, or viewers who get a chance to witness
his anxiety for the betterment of children and caring for their
emotional world.
There are hardly any people here working so consistently
and exclusively for children. There are some respectable thinkers
and committed teachers and writers but they are seldom out in
the field and tend to be arm-chair activists.
Rajiv's reach and exclusive focus is almost unparalleled in
this part of the world.
Those who get a chance to play the number games and
language games; all devised by Rajiv Tambe as zero cost learning
activities are seized by the innovative fun and experience some of
the unforgettable joyous moments of their lives.
Whether you are a teacher, parent or even a patron person
3
from corporate world, Rajiv demonstrates a unique knack of
bringing out the child you had been once or you secretly yearn to
be.
