Provide an environment of trust, and openness allowing individuals the freedom to express opinions, views, and disagreements. Open communication can empower, encourage creativity, build trust, and promote confidence. To reduce social loafing, goals, roles, and tasks need to be defined so team members know how they will collectively contribute to the team effort and success.
