Canadians have a distinct national identity defined by adjectives like polite, friendly, and outdoorsy. However, stereotypes of Canadians often rely on broad generalizations that are untrue of the entire population, such as assuming all Canadians love cold weather. Some common Canadian stereotypes include enjoying hockey, apologizing often, and enjoying maple syrup. Students were assigned to depict a Canadian stereotype through a picture or comic to creatively represent these stereotypes.
