2. Brass record player
Good points:
defiantly refers to steam punk
Record player is a nice touch to add the musical element
Bad Points
I do not think that this would look very good, and 3 words does is not
common in magazine covers simply because it is a mouthful and
not catchy.
Why I cut it from my final choice:
I do not think that it is the right choice as It is simply too long, not
catchy and whilst it does represent what I am looking for nicely, it
does not cut it for me and so I will not be using it.
3. clockwork records
Good points:
The records does relate to the classical rock genre that I am trying to
follow.
clockwork is one of the key title elements of steampunk.
Bad Points
It is once again too long, and doesn’t look like it will fit nicely on the page.
Hard to enunciate.
Doesn’t sound like a magazine rather than a reward.
5. Steam-powered records
Good points:
Conveys both steam punk and the musical
element of records
Bad Points
- Too long, wouldn’t fit on the page nicely.
- Doesn’t flow
- Records is apparently hard to say in a
long title.
