19/20. ENGLISH FOR ANIMATION II

1. A day in the life of animator Kevin Soliz

2. Hi, my name is Kevin Soliz and I live in Notting
Hill, London, England, Europe.

3. I live in a large flat with 6 bedrooms, 2 ensuite
bathrooms and 2 ordinary bathrooms, a large
work room, 1 huge living room, a big kitchen, a
fantastic private heliport, a private gym with a
small indoor swimming-pool,where I invite my
friends. It also has a music studio and I play
there with a band of three people. We create
soundtracks for our own films and we have a lot
of work to do.

4. Today is Monday 23rd December and it’s
snowing in Notting Hill.

5. Like every morning before I get up I open my
eyes and look out the window to see if there is a
queue in the bakery, if there is not, I am
running to buy warm bread. Today I
remembered that I still have yesterday’s bread.

6. I'm going to have corn flakes for breakfast with
milk, some orange juice, scrambled eggs, hot
beans and tacos with grilled meat. I need a lot
of energy for today.

7. It's 8 o'clock in the morning and now I'm going
to take a long shower to go to work.

8. I start working at 10 am and normally my
secretary tells me what I should do today, but
now we are all very busy with the Christmas
project, we are giving the last touches to our
Christmas movie.

9. Today we will have lunch in an Irish restaurant,
my team insisted that the food there is really
delicious, there we go.

10. It's already 4 pm, how fast time goes by!, now I
will return home and finish working there. I’m
really excited.

11. It's almost 9 at night, I have to go to the gym,
then I'll have dinner with some friends to talk
about our next movie.

12. The dinner was delicious, the Italians are the
best with pasta, after my mother.

13. It's too late, I'd better go to bed, but not before
reading a couple of chapters of my favourite
book. It's been a really good day!
