1. Wage growth
2. NDP and LPC statement on Wages
3. Issues facing wages
4. Wages growth by business segment
5. Explanation of government policies on wages
2. Opposition Party comments
• Tom Mulcair quote “While Harper has been in office, income
inequality has deepened, wages have stagnated and new job creation
is slower than any period since World War II”
• Ralph Goodale “This will come as “news” to millions of Canadians
who are having a tough time coping with the cost of living and just
getting by, let alone getting ahead. Over the past 30 years, median
after-tax family incomes in Canada have increased by a mediocre 14%
– that’s less than half a percentage point per year on average”

Mulcair is talking about stagnation, right? It seems to me the latest trend in July 2015 shows a 3.4% increase in wages, right? http://www.statcan.gc.ca/tables-tableaux/sum-som/l01/cst01/labr69a-eng.htm
Fact 1 - http://www.statcan.gc.ca/pub/11-626-x/11-626-x2012008-eng.pdf. Based on this study wages have been growing, but a slower pace. This actually aligns to what CNN has said on the middle income class - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqLDHQ-iJU8
Fact 2 - http://www.ilo.org/wcmsp5/groups/public/@dgreports/@dcomm/@publ/documents/publication/wcms_324678.pdf . This shows wages are growing Canada, especially compare to its peer like the USA.
Fact 3 - http://static1.1.sqspcdn.com/static/f/1493895/25691274/1416506638937/Final+Skills+Shortage+CFCM+October+2014+1.pdf?token=asWYEXX%2BgzkKAs9yHY49UezLjEA%3D. So, the LPC solution is throw more money at university and colleges, right? How about working with business and the school systems to push people to careers that are likely to require workers.
It is funny how I can do 20 minutes of research which dispels Mulcair’s facts as being less than factual. Yet, Mulcair never refutes my comments, why? My guess that Mulcair cannot so he chooses to hide from discussing details to smearing of either Harper or Trudeau. If you want to see how real NDP government respond to globalization then look at NDP government at the provincial level - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhMMLNa3C-c
So, who is lying?
