● If you successfully complete the CCIE R&S certification prior to April 26 the 26th 2020, on the 27th of April the 2020,

awarded a Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core certification.
● If you're a member of the active CCNP or have successfully passed an exam that is equivalent to the technology core

updated CCIE program recertification requirements will be needed every 3 years. The current CCIE R7S v5.0
recertification requirements are after every two years.
● Suspended status for CCIE will expire on February 24, 2020. If you're in suspended status at the time of February 24
2020, your certificate will remain active throughout the suspension term. To keep it active beyond the suspension
period, CCIEs must comply with new recertification requirements. For instance, if your suspended status expires May 5
2020, then your CCIE will be active February 24 day 2020, and end on the 5th of May the 5th 2020, unless any new
recertification requirements are fulfilled.
