1. Summary
“Dreams & Sleep VS Personality”
Psychologists today are trying to find other means of determining other’s personality. They
preferred music, preferred food, preferred colors and other mediums to do so since the past few
decades.
Our project also shows that there is a strong relation between our dreaming life and walking life.
Similarly our sleeping routine also relates our personality type.
This analysis was based on Bfi questionnaire and few questions related to our dreaming and
sleeping routine. On the basis of the survey conducted the results obtained were:
Personality types on the basis of BFI:
1. Extraversion: excitability, social ability, talkativeness and high amount of emotional
expressions.
2. Agreeableness: friendly, cooperative, sympathetic and compassionate.
3. Neuroticism: moody and tense.
4. Conscientiousness: are reliable and prompt.
5. Openness: enjoy new experiences.
Personality type on the basis of Sleeping styles:
1. Sleeping on Stomach: Express Neuroticism as a personality type.
2. Back sleepers with arms crossed: Express Conscientiousness as a personality type
3. Side sleepers: Express Agreeableness as a personality type.
4. Back sleepers with legs crossed: Express Extraversion as a personality type.
5. Cuddle up: Express Openness as a personality type.
6. Side sleepers with one knee bended: Express Conscientiousness as a personality type
7. Side sleepers with lying on one arm: Express Agreeableness as a personality type.
8. Side sleepers with lying on one side: Express Neuroticism as a personality type
