CHURCH GROUNDS CLEANUP! We need your help! It’s time for our
annual tune-up and clean-up of the church grounds, lawn and landscaping
which will take place this Saturday and the next. This Saturday, we will
clean up and prep the yard for April 27 when we will spread mulch. The
“fun” starts at 8:00 a.m. on both Saturdays and is usually completed within
2 hours. Please bring rakes, shovels, etc. and let Rex DeBoer know if you can help with

MINISTRY COORDINATORS MEETING: SUNDAY, APRIL 28
Coordinator’s for all ministries at Parkside are asked to attend our annual
Coordinator Meeting in the youth room immediately following the morning service
on April 28. Ministries will be reviewed, encouragement given and plans made
for our Ministry Fair held on May 19. Lunch will be provided. If you cannot
attend, please appoint someone from your ministry to attend in your place.

YOUTH SPRING RETREAT - APRIL 26, 27 & 28
Join us for a great weekend in Houghton, Michigan. We’ll be staying in a
cabin on the lake 1 1/2 hours away. There will be a guest speaker, outdoor
activities, great food and challenging lessons. The cost is $40 which
includes lodging, transportation and meals. We’ll be leaving at 5:00 p.m.
on Friday and returning on Sunday between 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sign up by
April 23 at the Youth Counter.
Is your child attending camp this summer? We know that
camp can be an amazing and sometimes life changing
experience but we also know that it can be very expensive.
Did you know that there are scholarships available? If
you would like to send your child to a Christian camp,
We, as a Missions Board, would love to help you with the
expense. Please talk to Pastor Joe to fill out the
proper form.

2. CO-ED INDOOR SOCCER AT PARKSIDE! Men, Women, Boys and Girls, Parkside
Attendees and Non-attendees: Come to Parkside every Tuesday evening from 7:30 to
9:00 p.m. to play soccer in our Family Life Center! Get some exercise and fellowship with
others. If you have questions, please talk to Trent Ramos - 616-422-8855.
MEN’S MENTORING CLASS All men are invited to join a Thursday evening group
focused around Bible intake, prayer, and fellowship with other men. The group will meet
through April 18th in the Fellowship Hall from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. to encourage and develop
our spiritual leadership skills. For more information, contact Pastor Gary.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY Ladies, if you’re not already participating in our Women’s Bible
Study held on Thursday evenings, please join us! We meet in the Board Room at church
from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and are studying 1 Timothy. Books are $6 each. If you have

LADIES DINNER & GAME NIGHT This Friday, April 19, Ladies Dinner & Game Night will
consist of dinner at China Inn, 2863 W. Shore Drive in Holland at 5:30, then for those who
wish, we will be attending the Good Friday service at the church at 7:00 p.m. Please sign
up at the Women’s Ministry Counter so reservations can be made.
SUPER SENIORS Our Wednesday, April 24, Super Senior meeting will feature a
presentation by Dr. Ted Loudon recounting his missionary work to provide water purification
systems for 3rd world countries with Aqua Clara Int. After the 10:30 a.m. program in the
Fellowship Area, we will drive to the ACI facilities for lunch and a tour of their water
purification systems. Please sign up at the Welcome Center.
“UNCHAINED” - YOUNG ADULT/COLLEGE AGE - Every other Friday, join a gathering of
young adults and college-age guys and gals for games, fellowship, study and snacks. We’ll

Good Friday Service
This Friday, April 19 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Join us on Friday, April 19, at 7:00 p.m. as we walk through the events
leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. We will be focusing on the
events of Jesus’ ministry – from the last supper to his crucifixion on the
cross - and all that took place in between. You will see these events acted
out in still poses in order to capture the full effect of what these events were
like. You will also hear sounds that will make you feel as though you are in
these very moments. Join us in this journey of remembering the death of
our Lord and Savior!
Easter Sunrise Emmaus Walk & Service
Next Sunday, April 21 7:00-7:45 a.m.
Begin Easter morning at 7:00 a.m. with our Emmaus Walk from the church
to the park next door. For non-walkers, we will be having a devotional time
