remains in critical condition at Meijer Heart Center;

extensive back surgery;
t for a speedy recovery for Dan Furbush Sr. who had
successful surgery on 5/22 to remove a mass from his
chest and also remove his thyroid;

Youth Group may be over for the school year but there will
be special summer activities scheduled. Events will be
posted on the youth counter.
Is your child attending camp this summer? We know that camp can be an
amazing & sometimes life changing experience but we also know that it can be
very expensive. Did you know that there are scholarships available? If you would
like to send your child to a Christian camp, we, as a Missions Board, would love to
help you with the expense. Please talk to Pastor Joe to fill out the proper form.

Parkside Bible Church is pleased to announce a more secure and
convenient way to make your regular offerings. Consider automating
your regular donations with our new electronic giving program. We
encourage you to set up a schedule of recurring contributions.

2. SUPER SENIORS The Super Seniors will meet this Wednesday, May 29, at 10:30 a.m. in the
Fellowship Area. Special guest Dr. Suzanne McDonald will be speaking on âDealing Faithfully with
Dementia.â This event is open to all ages! Lunch will follow the program. Please sign up at the
Welcome Center.
THURSDAY EVENINGS âPENTATEUCH STUDYâ Join us this Thursday evening from 6:30-
8:00 p.m. for the final Pentateuch Study. This study is for high school and up...for both male and
female. Hope to see you there as we conclude our study of the first 5 Old Testament books of
promises and prophesies. Questions, talk to Pastor Gary.
SUMMER HYMN SINGS Sunday evening Hymn Sings will begin next Sunday, June 2, from 6:00-
7:00 p.m. See the details in the enclosed flyer and invite your friends, neighbors and relatives!
PRAYER EVENING Join us Wednesday, June 5, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. as we pray for the ministries
of Parkside. See the insert in the bulletin today for more details.
GRAD SUNDAY If you are graduating from either High School or College this year, please contact
the church office with the following information: where youâre graduating from and your future plans.
There will be a reception for all our grads on Sunday, June 9, following the service. We would love
to display a framed picture of you for the reception area. Please drop one off to the church office by
next Sunday. Also if you can send an electronic version of your picture along with a baby picture to
parksidejudy@sbcglobal.net, we would like to show it on our screen that Sunday morning.
SUMMER PARENTING CLASS Starting on Sunday, June 9, and continuing every Sunday until the
end of July, we will be offering parenting classes facilitated by Pastor Joe. We will be working through
the new book: âParenting: 14 Gospel Principles to Radically Change Your Family.â We will meet
immediately after the morning service every week from 11:15-12:30. Lunch will be provided and
childcare will be available. Parents with kids of all ages are welcome!
âUNCHAINEDâ - YOUNG ADULT/COLLEGE AGE Every other Friday, join a gathering of young
adults and college-age guys and gals for games, fellowship, study and snacks. Weâll be meeting
on Friday, June 14, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Invite your friends! Please email Harold Kimbel at

We now have a Community Bulletin Board thanks to a donation from Rush
Creek! It is located in the hallway next to our Church Family pictures. It is
intended for special community events and opportunities (not personal items
such as kittens for sale, yard sales, etc.) All items to be posted must go through
the church office so bring your event to Judy or Barb for approval.
SUPER SENIORS SUMMER PROGRAM!
This summer, weâll be learning about the people who knew
Jesus. Weâll take an in-depth look at some disciples, friends, and
family members of our Lord. This will be an exciting topic and
weâre sure to discover how we can follow Jesus today!
The Super Senior summer group will start on Wednesday, June
12, and will meet from 10:30 a.m. to noon every Wednesday
throughout the summer.
Lunch following the lesson will be at a local restaurant.
